Time to Circle the Wagons in Frisco (updated 4/21)

Thanks for a great weekend. There were some issues to deal with early on and thanks to everyone for their patience in allowing Bill and I to deal with it as best as we could. It didn't go totally according to plan, but it was still a good day overall.

Again Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

General Parking Information: (the short version)

Parking lots will open at 9am on Saturday at 9am.
Cost will be $25.00 per parking space for the day. Only one space per passenger vehicle.
Parking fees are payable directly to PHP upon entry to the lot.
If you leave the lot during the day you will be charged again upon reentry.
Overnight parking is permited. You must be off the PHP lots by Noon on Sunday.
Friday night parking will only be in the Red Lot. Cost will be $50.00 for 2 days per space.
RV's will be charged for 4 spaces ($100/day)
The above is per PHP parking policy, for more info here is the direct link to the PHP parking info:
http://www.pizzahutpark.com/Home/tabid/ ... fault.aspx

Feeding Frenzy III specific information:

We will be parking RV's and trailers in the Green lot east of the Pavilions on Technology Dr.
Again the lot will open at 9am on Saturday. (I'm working on that.)
Cost will be $25.00 per space ie.Single vehicle $25; Vehicle and trailer $50, RV's and Campers $100. This is payable directly to PHP upon entry to the lot.
There are no hook ups available at PHP.
A plan is in the works for RV's arriving Friday. More on that in the future
I am working on a drop off point for chairs and coolers before you park. I may need volunteers to help unload cars quickly so we don't tie up traffic.
Please direct your parking questions to me via Email or PM. Please do not call PHP. At this time it is a fluid situation, I will have more specfic information down the road.

If your planning to bring you RV, bus, travel trailer, camper, just want to be able to sleep in your car in the midst of your phriends, or bringing a trailer full of stuff for the tailgate, I'll need the following info:

Type of vehicle
Size (length, # of pullouts and such)
Tow vehicle if pulling a trailer. Or if your pulling a car to runaround with
Email Address
If you parked in a specfic spot last year and would like to be in roughly the same place, please let me know.

Please pm or email me (both are below). Please put Frisco RV in the subject line. Also please do include an email address in your PM for I will be sending global information out from time to time. Also include your BN name in emails.

Here is a rental source for RV's near Frisco:

If you need a rental, call El Monte RV in McKinney, (972) 562-1900 and ask about the parrothead packages. You can go to elmonterv.com to see the models, but call them locally to reserve. Mr Play has talked to them and they have rented about 30 of their units so the inventory is getting thin. If you want to reserve one call soon. (as of 2/4).

Here are some other rental links:\
http://www.rvdallas.com/index.htm (I believe these folks are just north of Frisco at 380 and the Tollway.)
http://www.usarvrentals.com/rv_rental_l ... GgodsiII0w
Here's the link to the google search I ran: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... +dallas+tx

Thanks

Your Wagonmaster

It's looking less and less likely I will be able to attend this year.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Ok here's the plan.......

We get someone to box you (and maybe Jack, you may need a companion)send to you to Bill's house or the Pharm. You can sleep in the camper or my truck in Frisco, mooch off of Larry and Garry on the way to Charlotte. They box you up in Raleigh and send you home.

Work for you? :)

Attitude adjustment - well, I'm working on it .... It's been a tough five months at the Mojito Manse ... nothing like what some of our BN phamily is going through, but tough for us, my sweet mother-in-law and Maggie the dog. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

I'll be in Friday afternoon and will leave Sunday ... I'll have the Trailblazer ... can pick up/deliver from either airport.

remember that kid that you freaked out at pappadeaux a few years ago - he'll be there  :D

Many thanks.

I am looking forward to this show. I just realized there is a presale, and 6 of us will be heading down from Kansas City for the event. I am relying on the kindness of fellow Parrotheads to kindly pass along the presale password.

While I am new, I don't want anyone thinking I am a scalper, so here is my attempt to establish my bona fides. Have seen Jimmy live 5 times (KC 95, 97, St. Louis 2000, Chicago 2003, Vegas 2005, and Frisco 2008). While this is not great compared to most of you, we have to travel each year.

So, if anyone could pm me the presale password, that would put my ease to mind about getting to see Jimmy this year.
