I would say you ALWAYS play by the rules....once you know what they are. BNers are good rule followers!!! :P :P :P
So glad there were no problems. I have to admit a moment of mourning for all the other shot luges and games I passed on our golf car foray. I noticed that all individual groups had absolutely no problem. I get the difference the armbands make when supplied to everyone. I understand we can't take the risk of even a small group doing anything. I am however considering muy own personal snow cone machine with lovely toppers next year. You know, just for my group. All my group under my little tent. I already have at least 6 more virgins already signed up for next year.[smilie=whistle.gif]. Totally controlled, with no public access at all, of course. I was so missing the grape snowcones with Malibu Rum drizzles...whouda thunk it that it would taste that great? I believe as long as I control it within my little group and it has nothing to do with wristbands, it should be ok. My little group....hee....heee. Don't worry, I'll be good. Don't want any trouble, just want that puppy back!

Scottish Rite is a very, very special place. Their peeps have been doing the donation thing since before most of us were an apple in our mother's eye. I've been there. They will take awesome care of all of you and will make Cameron feel so at ease. Pleae keep us posted.

I asm obviously not as multi-lingual as you...but what you did, kinda goes beyond words for me. You set an example for supposedly grown up people that should know better and you make me a better person. You do realize your giving heart has only started on its journey...many, many people will benefit from you being here and I am honored to call you my friend. Just so you know some immediate impact you had...I passed a homeless woman yesterday. I was tired and wanted to go home. But instead, I cut a u-turn, parked at a Bill Miller's and walked out in traffic to give her all the money I had ( a whole $14). Almost got hit by a car. She cried, asked for my name and a hug, which I gladly gave her. She obviously had had a stroke, was very sunburned, but you could see how she had strived to stay clean, probably in gas station bathrooms. We hugged and said a prayer. I saw her again today...unfortunately, I only had a couple of dollars and a $2 winning scratch off. I gave that to her too. She told me that the time I spent meant more to her than she could explain. Another couple did the u-turn and took her in for dinner. We gave that poor woman hope and enough money to eat for a few days. Thanks God the weather is mild. I'm off a few days, may not see her again. But I have made a new pledge to myself...judge not and do the right thing. Anything I have that I can give, I will. I wouldn't have had that mindset before being with all you BNrs. I just donated to the Texas Highway Patrol for slain officers and the families left behind...last year I would have hung up the phone. This year, I realized with all my challenges, there are so many who need so much more. I'll stay out of the store, not spend my money and wear my ratty stuff for a year. This is much better. ETP said it best..."It feels good to do good". Really doesn't matter if you have small change or a few dollars. Sharkdog said it well too. A millionaire giving what seems a large donation that really doesn't impact his bottom line is not the same as the person who digs their last dollar bills and change out for another. Thanks for the life lesson from you all. Guess this old dog is not too old to learn new tricks and get humble. And it's all about you teaching me this. Life lessons always come at the right time. An unofficial challenge...the next homeless person you see, help them. We don't know their story and I figure, but for the grace of God, there go I. You mean I didn't have to carry around the empty jello shot cups in my pocket till I found trash to throw them away in? Next year I'll remember the hot tub.

It's official ... I'm infected. :o

Finally broke down and went to doctor. She took one look at my lab work and asked me how I was still vertical.

I have bronchitis - my throat looks like "raw hamburger meat" - her description.

AND

I have a "raging" bladder infection. Again, her words, not mine.

"How are you still vertical," she asked.

I have had a shot and am on major antibiotics for the next week.

Glad it all hit AFTER Jimmy instead of before!

How about a little Frisco Fin Power for your pal ETP? 8)
