Can you all believe my wonderful virgin just fired me? After I begged for weeks to not take calls on this last Friday office holiday to do wedding stuff, she would not help me with it. Did I mention she was my matron of honor for the wedding in 35 days from now and has never lifted a finger to arrange anything? Good news, I have a traveling consulting job for my old boss already in the works (7 years later and she is begging for me. Can we say window opening when door shuts?). Will be much better for me. I can't work 18 hours a day forever. Pray my loyal employees get their next paycheck. It's all good with me, besides g*d forbid I go in the office and steal something after 4 years of keeping the company running. I know they are making me have a guard with me. My prediction, they cave in 90 days. Sounds like a personal problem to me. Can you believe people? I've dealt with this kind of cr*p for over 20 years...this one's a little different. I thought she was my best friend and was my matron of honor. You can imagine the last minute wedding scramble now. No one that worked for me would dare to show up to the wedding now, they are in a very difficult position. My fiance's niece is picking up, despite her intense personal and physical situation, bless her heart. Someone visualize a huge machete in Piratenurse's back. It's ok, guys...I already have plan B in place and Mike is loving and supportive. It just ouches, to say the least. Thanks for being a free therapist group and I promise to be much more upbeat next post. Just asking for your awesome phin power...jeez, I keep doing that a lot lately!

We went to the information and sign-up meeting today. Toward the end, they asked everyone that was participating in the events to stand up. Then they asked people to sit down unless they had raised $50, $100, $250, etc. By the time they got to $500, Debbie was the only one left standing. Rather than keep increasing, they just asked her how much she had raised. You should have seen all of the jaws drop when she told them $5,000!

Thank you all for making that possible. It made me feel really proud of what we were able to accomplish together, and it absolutely inspired everyone else in the room!

Hey, guys. Lost lost jedivet here. Just wanted to pop on and say that I'm proud and tickled that the FFF III was such a success (not that I ever doubted it). I couldn't be there this year, but I got my t-shirt in the mail this week (thanks to luciole), and I was definitely there in spirit!

It's official ... I'm infected.

Finally broke down and went to doctor. She took one look at my lab work and asked me how I was still vertical.

I have bronchitis - my throat looks like "raw hamburger meat" - her description.

AND

I have a "raging" bladder infection. Again, her words, not mine.

"How are you still vertical," she asked.

I have had a shot and am on major antibiotics for the next week.

Glad it all hit AFTER Jimmy instead of before!

FYI, in the future for prevention of female UTI (bladder infection)...drink lots of water, especially after alcohol intake (the broken down sugars are like a smorgasbord for the little bacterial monsters), urinate and wash up right after....well, you know; and make cranberry capsules part of your daily routine. I've had em for years, this regimen has reduced the by 90%...swear by it!

Gingerbreadman (Dave) is finishing up the CD's, and he has the addresses for where to send the masters. I just emailed each distributor with the addresses for mailing out their copies when they get them. If you're on the distributor list, please check your email and let me know if you didn't get it.

Huge props to gingerbreadman for providing the clean masters and mailing them out. There is a lot of prep work he does to get everything just right.

Also, thanks to all of the distributors for making copies and getting them out. I know this tradition is a highlight of the party each year for a lot of people.

During lunch I picked up the dry-erase "big check" for making the check presentations.
NBCF is tomorrow and Scottish Rite is on Thursday (provided I don't get selected for jury duty in the morning).
