All I can say is WOW... This was my 1st Chesney concert and I was impressed... Three and and half hours of high energy!! What a special treat to have Mac show up!! He seemed to be having a ball playing all sorts of songs. Having Kenny come out into the parking lot and then get into the Leaky Tiki was incredible. As usual Mr. Play put on a 1st class party!!! Thanks Bill...

Here's another pic of Kenny just before he got in the hot tub. The ummm scenery isn't as nice as some of the hot tub pics, what can I say?
It started with the video crew coming out and shooting some video of the hot tub action and interviewing me. They said they would bring Kenny out in about an hour, and sure enough they came back. There was an absolute mob of people all around the hot tub while Kenny was there, and they had to rush him off pretty quickly.
The video guys said they were shooting some promo clips for KC's new internet radio station, so we may get some exposure with that. I guess time will tell...

Re: 3rd Annual FFF 2009 - A Party That Mattered
I did the accounting this morning, and we raised another $300 for Leukemia with this party (actually it's $268.79, but I put in some extra to round it up). That is just enough to put Mrs. Play at 100 percent of her Team In Training goal, which takes pressure off and lets her focus on just the training.
The weather was great but there didn't seem to be as many people there early this time, and they had 4 public porta-potties in our lot. All in all it was a great time and we did raise some money for a good cause. I even got a truck driver from Brazil to pull the Leaky Tiki so I could ride around the lot in the hot tub this time.
Just think though, the small change donation from A1A-keet was more than this entire tailgate party generated. Does Buffettnews rock or what?![superkewl [smilie=superkewl.gif]](./images/smilies/superkewl.gif)

Great job again Bill! I'm very happy for you guys, but....you know the rest. I should have just put on my big girl panties and deal with getting 2 hours of sleep before work this morning.

On Kenny's website he talks about coming out to the Leaky Tiki. Go to the News section and find the 5/18 article about the make up concert.

Sounds like everyone had a good time. Wish I could have made it.
Bill and Deb for making your goal.
Oh..... by the way. CD's went out today. Sorry for the delay folks. You should have them by Friday at the latest.

The DJ on the radio this morning in Austin had a quote from Kenny Chesney about a crazy group of people that had a hot tub in the parking lot this weekend! He said he brought beer and jumped in!
"A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not why ships are built."

I think we might need yellow cups instead of blue for the Jones Beach show this year.Mr Play wrote:

Great job (as always) Bill! My daughter & her friends loved the concert and now wished they had came early to tailgate. Tried to tell her but you know kids these days.
If i hadn't been w*rking the weekend would have joined y'all.
