yesterday the ad for the concert was in the Milwaukee Journal...the on sale date is next Monday the 23rd at 10am.

The link on the Tour Dates page at margaritaville.com takes you to Live Nation, but the show isn't listed there. Same thing for the Jones Beach show. Neither one is on ticketmaster either.

yes, I saw that Alpine is not listed on either of these sites too....they're probably still figuring out all the extra excessive fees they can add to the ticket prices yet before next Monday.

Thanks Steph! I was browsing the paper online too...didnt' see it there... Next Monday is going to be a crazy crazy busy day!

Thanks to GumboGal for the info from the Milwaukee Journal... that looks like as good of a confirmation as we are gonna get...

We got 10 rooms and Kathy sounds really cool on the phone. Do you party friday night? We always come up the night before and live it up as well.

I have in the past come on Friday, but this year we are only able to do Saturday Night. I do get there by 10am to catch up with old friends & make new ones. On Sunday we all try to invade Watertown's restaurants for breakfast!!!! Cant wait!! Keep in touch and will meet Saturday morning!!

We will have to get the names of some good eating places. I usually can and need to eat both sat and sunday. Helps settle the stomach so to speak. Brought my frozen concoction maker last year and it got the best of me after about 7-9 pitchers

Now with the actual announcement of ticket sales, I am getting excited for summer to be here, with 5 inches of snow expected Wednesday. I cant wait! Good luck to all in the great ticket experience of 2009!!

FYi - from what i've seen - its 2/23 at 10AM EST - which is 9am CST.

Hmmmm..... I am guessing it will be 10 CENTRAL time, but you never know..... It was probably a typo or an assumption from those eastcoasters... But I am prety sure it will be 10:00 central time, since that is the time zone of where the concert actually is.... better to be early than late though

I agree.. 10am CST would make more sense, and that is when most shows go on sale..

still nothing up on ticket master to confirm.

We were trying to reserve a party deck, but its $180 per person, for 50 people. We couldn't rustle up 50 people who wanted to pay that much.

It comes with your own personal Port-o-john though. That's totally worth the $$ to me!

Last year both vendors were selling tickets. At LN you could get reserved seats for days after the sale start date.

As I cannot do this at work, I'll just have to take my chances when I get home

Last year, I taught her to do "FINS UP", and she wore a Hawaiian Shirt...they let her pick a ticket, and we WON the lottery!!! She was only 14 months old...

This year, I have taught her to do a pirate "Arrrrr"....but need to find her a new shirt that fits.

Hey all don't forget that the preparty is at Hemingways the night before the concert and we welcome tailaiting, camping, and we also have two buses taking people up to the concert and bringing them back to our parking lot. Our parking lot is huge and cars can stay overnight!!!!

yes...will there be another band outside earlier too? This year I am going to make sure we're there earlier in the day to enjoy as much as possible
and it's good to know if I get too drunk I can just leave the car there Fri.night and take a cab back to the hotel much appreciated!!!
