Did anyone buy tix from Livenation? I went there first and the site dumped me over to TM. I wonder if I wasted time over at LN. Oh well the wife got 6, so now I owe her. That's not a bad thing.

I got 2 in the Pav after several failed attempts. I was not happy with the merger rumors but it seems they are already together. Went to Live Nation clicked get tickets and back to ticketmaster. I guess if they merge things will be even more pricey but possibly less confusing. Oh well, Alpine will take away all the pain.

Call Live Nation Customer support at 1-800-745-3000 and tell them you got transferred from another agent at LiveNation who had problems with the system. Just worked for me....Lawn still available here....but hurry up!

perhaps some orders have kicked back already that overbought or credit card is no good

I just called the number and it seems they have plenty of tickets for computer errors, etc. I just got 2 lawn by calling the above number. I love real people!!!!

If this doesn't work, you can also call 18775988497. When they don't have tickets have them transfer you to customer service. They will say they don't see any on their system...but customer care does! Takes about 5 minutes to go through. My friend did it this way and it worked for him whereas calling the number above did not.

Does anyone have a link to a seating chart that shows the covered vs uncovered pavilion area? I got two in sec 201 row SS that are uncovered. Just wondering how far from cover these actually are.

I clicked the link to tickets at Livenation and also got re-routed to Ticketmaster. It must have something to do with the merger.

Oh, and I forgot to add: Whooooohooooo! Roadtrip! Helllloooo Wisconsin! Looking forward to it. We've never been there.

You should probably be under the covering, even if it says uncvrd. The covering runs out towards the very back of the reserved seats or if you are on the outside of the row, but even then it seems that it is still covered.

At the same time, I'm prepared to feel dejected once again around 10:25 AM. Just once, I'd like not to be forced to go through eBay for tickets!!! Good luck everyone!

While you're pecking away at the computer, try this number 1-877-598-8689. It's Livenation and
you should call about a minute or two before they go on sale. I have had incredible luck with this.
Let me know if it works for you.

When the LiveNation site dumped me off to Ticketbastard, and who then flushed out the 4 tickets it showed me by the time I tried to pay for them because it "timed out" in about 45 seconds, I gave this number a call.

6 together, section 202.....couldn't be happier....an that was at 10:30.

If last year is any indicator, those who got shutout should try again a bit later today after the dust settles. LiveNation had reserved tickets available for quite some time on-line, so I bet over the phone you'd have luck as well.

Several in our group tried as well with success!!!!!

Thanks for the link. I really shouldn't be picky. A seat is a seat. Besides, we're staying at the resort, so it isn't too long of a walk back even if we get soaked. But think positive, right? No rain!

Don't want to Jinx us but at the end of August chances of rain should be pretty slim. Of course anything can happen. Believe me I don't want any rain as we will be on the lawn and riding the motorcycle in.

Staying at the Alpine Resort is nice for being so close for the concert. The last time I was at the resort it was kind of rundown.

Hoping that Darrell and Lisa from Illinois will be having their "Meeting of the Mindless" charity get together on Fiday night at the resort. They did not have one last year but did the years before.

We'll see if they do it this year. It was a great time when we went in 2006. They had the Boatdrunks, if I remember right.

Did not make it in 2007 since we went to see Mac McAnally on Friday night at Shank Hall. We'll see if we get another Mac show, he puts on a great show. Last year Mac did a Charity event on Friday night before Alpine.

I highly recommend seeing Mac if you get the chance. I saw him with Fingers Taylor in '98 at the State Theatre in Virginia. In the middle of the show, Jimmy and his family came in. He got up and did 4 or 5 songs with Mac and Fingers. There were probably 150 people in the place at most. A truly amazing show even if Jimmy doesn't show up.
