Here are a few of my favorites!


Margarita Jello Shots
6 ounces Lime Jello (large box)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Tequila
2 ounces Triple Sec
1 ounce Lime Juice
1 ounce Water (cold)
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol. Pour the mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Shot glasses are more attractive, but the paper cups are easier to eat from.

Margarita Shots
Lime Jello, large box or two small boxes
2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup Tequila
1/4 cup Triple Sec

Daiquiri Jello Shots
6 ounces Cherry or Strawberry Jello
16 ounces Water (boiling)
12 ounces Water (cold)
2 ounces Triple Sec
2 ounces Dark Rum
2 ounces Light Rum
Mix the jello mix with two cups (16 ounces) of boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol.

Lemon Drop Jello Shots
6 ounces lemon jello (large box)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
8 ounces Water (cold)
8 ounces Vodka
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups.

Rum and Coke Jello Shots
6 ounces Cherry Jello
8 ounces Cola (boiling)
8 ounces Cola (cold)
8 ounces White Rum
Mix the jello mix with the boiling cola until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the cola and the rum. At this point, you may wish to stir the mixture again until the bubbles begin to subside. Pour the mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups.

Irish Whiskey Sour Jello Shots
6 ounces Orange Jello (large box)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
12 ounces Water (cold)
4 ounces Irish Whiskey
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol.


Caribbean Blue Jello Shots
6 ounces Berry Blue Jello
16 ounces Water (boiling)
10 ounces Water (cold)
6 ounces Light Rum
Mix the jello mix with two cups (16 ounces) of boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol.

Pina Colada Jell-O
Pineapple jello large box (4 cup size)
2 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup Light Rum
1/2 cup Cream of Coconut

we had a hygenist "smuggle" some throughout the year..shhhh... but not sure we can do that this year... they have some on ebay, etc..but they are pricey... they actually have them specifically for jello shots, i think google jello syringes will find some....

It just seems so long ago since seeing everyone! Can't wait for it all....Beach Bum Band party is WAYYYYYY overdue for us!!!!!! Between them and Steve/SOD their energy gets us all going all the time!!!

Now how can we hipe up this thread?????? I know I am overtaken with the "w" word way too much these days to post, but let's try to step it up a notch

Last year I didn't bring any cheese curds....long story. I did bring some local wisconsin sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheese. This year I'll be bringing those again and a couple bags of FRESH cheese curds, I'll be sure they are "squeakers" too bad I can't fit the deep fryer in the Honda, fresh fried cheese curds are awesome.

Man it's been a LONG time since I have had cheese curds fresh from Wisconsin... Those packaged ones just aren't the same

Had so much fun meeting some of you in Frisco that Boston may be making another trip. Had my first Shiner may as well have my first curds!

Does anybody here know Alpine Valley's policy on cameras? Not video or digital cameras; I'm still old-school and shoot 35-mm stills.
I've got seats on the lawn, and I need to know ahead of time so I can make arrangements to borrow my buddy's 400-mm lens. With that, some high-speed film, and a monopod, I should get some halfway decent shots.

No cameras which is no different than anywhere else. A small camera has been known to slip into the venue. I came close to getting mine taken away one year. Had to sweet talk my way out.....
I'm not sure how you would get a 35mm camera in.

Shirley is right. They have an official "no cameras" policy. We take one in every year, but we have to sneak it in. There is no way you would ever get a big camera and monopod in there. Once we get it passed security, we don't have any issues. Only once has someone said something to us. 2 years ago an over zealous minimum wage "security" person told us twice that if we didn't stop taking pictures he was going to take our camera away. He never did anything, I think he was just getting off on being a jerk.

OMG!!!!!! What a day! I was going to send you a message trying to convince you guys to come to Alpine... YOU GUYS HAVE TO COME!!!! Bring the wives if you can Let me know if I can do anything to help...this is much more my "home base"...I have an extra hotel room possibly also...

Only 4 months!!and a day. Way too long.

I guess it's still a little early to bring out the dancing (countdown) numbers.
