You know, those of us that are going to go, we need to figure out first of all who's going to be there. Anyone wanna start a list? Wino, you've got the second post on the first page; maybe you can go back and edit a list into there.....?
(If you do, put me down; I'm going fer sure!)

The other thing is, how are we gonna find each other? Or are we all going to try to locate each other at Hemingway's night-before party first?

No, but last night I was practicing for Alpine.
I had two triple cheeseburgers, each with a slice of cheddar, pepper jack, and colby, chili cheese fries, and a six pack of Schlitz.
Wow! Did you get an angiolplasty for dessert? (J/K)

I will be there! I am staying at the Baymont in Waterford Saturday night, I try to get there about 10am to partake in some early festivities in the hotel parking lot. Then off to Alpine. I'm from Sun prairie (near Madison). Anyone else from the area staying at the Baymont.

That's a good idea... add me to the list! Things are a bit less organized than in previous years. I know that CaptainP is taking a break from the large responsibility of organizing the traditional tailgate party this year. However, I think some pholks are planning to meet at the square in East Troy and caravan to Alpine from there. Perhaps someone "in the know" can confirm this?

I'll be wearing my BN name tag at Hemmingway's. Hope to meet/see many of you there! :D

Ok - haven't been keeping up with my duties as have been traveling to those wayward particular harbours as of late looking for my lost shaker (haven't found it yet, but its been a riot looking for it). Considering that we are now less than a month away, time to return to earth:-)

Jolena - if you get a list going of BNers who are coming this year, I will make sure we set up a designated spot for all to meet and greet. Last year we had at least 30 so I am thinking outside on the patio. If you get me names, I will have some type of ID ready for each at the door so we can recognize each other, even through the tequila fog. Also, since BNers have been soo great to South Of Disorder, BBB and Hemingways - those on the list will get the "Steve" discount at the door:-)) Just send me and Johnny up some shots of tequila to keep us going Friday night.

For BNers looking for bus from Chicago, try the Chicago Parrothead Club, they have seats left although they will not be coming up to the Friday night festivities. If you are still looking for rooms, hit up our Lake Geneva BNer contact, she can connect you up with our local residence inns, there are definitely rooms still available.

I realize that this is a tough year for all, am hoping we will all be able to forget about the current economic hurricane and have one hellofaparty at the end of the world (at least at the bottom of WI). If past years are any indication, we should have another great batch of pics for the hall of fame(shame) this year!

Our newbie PH event coordinator for Hemingways will keep posting updates on BN as we get closer.

It's going to be great seeing all our old friends and meeting all our new friends!

Fair winds and following seas in your trip up/down/sideways to our particular harbour. Drive safe all!

Sheesh! The Boat Drunks, an Iowa Parrothead band that I think I've seen/heard on RAGBRAI, and three of the Reefers!! Great lineup!!!
Now I've got to make a decision — do I go here or or go to Hemingway's ... Or maybe try to catch a little bit of both?
Where's my map of Lake Geneva?? I got me some figgerin' to do!!

Too bad Amy Lee won't be there with them, then we could all hold up the same signs we did when the four of them appeared with the Boat Drunks in Davenport, IA back in January.
The signs read:
Doyle
Amy
Mike
Nadriah
and the
BOAT DRUNKS.
