Good thing I got a room for two nights.... :o
I found my map.......

Two Seasons is a little closer to Lake Lawn (if you know the back roads), but if you don't it's pretty much six of one and half-a-dozen of another.
And I would call it about ten miles between Two Seasons and Hemingway's.

Jolena - if you get a list going of BNers who are coming this year, I will make sure we set up a designated spot for all to meet and greet. Last year we had at least 30 so I am thinking outside on the patio. If you get me names, I will have some type of ID ready for each at the door so we can recognize each other, even through the tequila fog. Also, since BNers have been soo great to South Of Disorder, BBB and Hemingways - those on the list will get the "Steve" discount at the door:-)) Just send me and Johnny up some shots of tequila to keep us going Friday night.

For BNers looking for bus from Chicago, try the Chicago Parrothead Club, they have seats left although they will not be coming up to the Friday night festivities. If you are still looking for rooms, hit up our Lake Geneva BNer contact, she can connect you up with our local residence inns, there are definitely rooms still available.

I realize that this is a tough year for all, am hoping we will all be able to forget about the current economic hurricane and have one hellofaparty at the end of the world (at least at the bottom of WI). If past years are any indication, we should have another great batch of pics for the hall of fame(shame) this year!

Our newbie PH event coordinator for Hemingways will keep posting updates on BN as we get closer.

It's going to be great seeing all our old friends and meeting all our new friends!

Fair winds and following seas in your trip up/down/sideways to our particular harbour. Drive safe all!

Steve, you ROCK! Please add me to the list....I'll also PM Jolena too...

going to Elhorn sounds like a fun time too! but I love the BBB and Hemingway's...haven't been to either in
WWAAAAYYYYY too long so I will see you all Friday night in Lake Geneva :D

As of this morning, Live Nation still had tickets available. If you only need one, I was able to pull up a single seat just 26 rows from the stage in Section 201... it looks like you can get up to 6 seats together - that suprised me! :o

Jeez, I'm already making plans for NEXT YEAR at Alpine.
Me, too.

Next year, I'll probably go back to coordinating the big party from past years.
This year, I just want to sit back and enjoy the day, have it be about the show, not the party.

I still have tickets available for our bus trip and beer deck for the Alpine show. The bus leaves from Central Illinois (Morton, near Peoria) and we have a beer deck for the show. I am providing food, punch and all the "tailgate items". Please let me know if you have any interest. Send me an email at rak@koener.com and I will send you the info.

Found out about this while surfing another website:
The Beast of Bray Road
If you’re near Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and see something resembling Bigfoot or perhaps a large wolf walking on its hind legs, don’t stop to see if it’s friendly. The Beast of Bray Road might not actually kill you – so far the only suspicious activity chalked up to this maybe-werewolf is the slaughter of small game and deer. One Web site says it behaves aggressively, though, so I probably wouldn’t try its patience.

Maybe I'll do my partying at Hemingway's, after all.

I just got off the phone with the
Horny
Old
Goat

He and I are going to be at Elk Horn on Friday night to see The Boat Drunks with Doyle, Nadirah, and Mike, (and our own Cedar Island Band).
And on Saturday, we'll be with Jolena's group on the bus from Janesville to the venue, and, since most people here going has the cell # of one or both of us, I'm sure we won't be too hard to miss.
(But I suspect a few folks will be trying).

OK, I just sent a PM to RagtopW to let him know that I'm coming too.
As a matter of fact, I'm also going to try to take in a little of the activities/entertainment at the Two Seasons as well.
