Seriously, Molly, I hope you enjoyed the show. Weather, not the best. Not to scare you off, but we've had worse....in 2001 it was 10 degrees colder....in 1998, the raid was a downpour, not a misty drizzle. Usually, it works out well, and it's a great venue.

I agree with Bill's assessment about the bathrooms.
The concession prices, while always bad, have reached ridiculous levels. ($9.00 for a can of Bud Light?)
The hill, on the way out, can be treacherous, but that's the price you pay for a natural venue such as this.
The parking lot, I love, but leaving is a headache. That's why we always start our tailgate party back up after the show.

Beyond those things, I love everything about the Alpine experience. I hope you'll come back again someday...maybe get to spend some more time before the show. It was great meeting you and the hubby!!!

The weather was definitely more fitting for a Bears / Packers tailgate, and we had Bears to the left of us, Packers to the right... as far as canopies go anyway. The cold wind was quite brutal when I stepped off of our bus, but after the initial shock, I convinced myself I was comfortable enough with nothing more than a lei on top and a real short skirt on the bottom.

It was nice to see everyone's smiling faces ~ only wish I would have seen more of them.

I hope everyone had tons of fun this weekend! It was really great meeting/seeing a some of you at Friday night at Hemmingway's. South of Disorder Band had it crankin' - they're so fun. It's Too bad Johnny couldn't be there - wish him well.

The show was a blast. Did anyone see Jimmy wearing my flowered cheesehead just before the second oncore? I was blessed to shake his hand! My spirits are still sky high today

We saw them in the parking lot after the show.
We were also walking out with the guy with the conch shell that Jimmy commented on---they guy was WASTED
