I just booked a cheapie room at the Chelsea Pub for Saturday and Sunday. At least I think I did; it's been so long since I actually called and confirmed with a person that it actually feels weird.
The first year year in AC we had almost as much fun the first day as we did they second, but we stayed waaaay up the boardwalk.
I just hope the Chelsea isn't too scary.

I had those seats back two years ago. They are behind the stage. It was the bama Breeze tour and the way that the set was arranged it blocked out half the band. They did have monitors though facing that side of the venue so thos behind the stage could see.

I had the same seats that year on the right side of the stage. We were actually the last seats against the back wall. The cool thing was that the dressing room was right below us so we got to see the band up close before the show and during the intermission. Like "Seas" said, there are monitors to watch. All in all not bad seats.
Seas, I was dreaming of Wildwood this past weekend. It would have been nice to get down and walk the boards. I need my first slice of Sams pizza for the 2009 season! I'll open the house the first weekend in May.

The monitors will help a lot, especially for our friends who don't get to see the band as often as we do.
Anybody who had those seats remember if 202 (row G) would be significantly better than 201 (row N)? Or are they both going to pretty much need the monitors?
Oh, and I think one of our pairs might be the last row in 201, too. I think I might like that just so the wife and I can boogie a bit. Two years ago our entire section chose to sit for the whole show. We had to sneak into a little alcove and hang out with the security guy just to dance.

Stayed at the Chelsea for the show a few years back, it wasn't bad. Sort of has a boarding house feel to it, with a bar on the first floor. They gave you complementary drinks at check in when we stayed there.

In these difficult economic times, I was going for the cheap seats.
Until the Mrs. came up with 3rd row.
Oh well, no lunch for the keet for a few weeks (months)

Keep trying. Like Al said tickets pop up all the time. Last year there were plenty of people selling tix outside the hall for face value. Don't worry, you'll get tix.

Must be an error on TM's part. Last time I checked pairs of floor seats within the first 20 rows were still popping up...just too rich for my blood.
The $96 dollar 300 sections were there, too. That's not a bad deal at all.
Hopefully they'll get that squared away.

Tix are back. Whatever they were doing they're done now.
