just for shits and giggles I was able to find a couple of tix after I got mine, but they were all singles. I'd keep trying, and if that doesn;t work, come back the week of the concert. They almost always have tickets available then,

Larry I was almost in the same boat as you. Totally hung on the final mouse click - re-started searching on the other computer, was telling me 8 minutes - uh, oh! Finally, after about 1.5 minutes - which seemed like an eternity - it finally confirmed the sale and my breathing resumed. Close one. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Section 8L, row BB, seats 8-10. Not the best, but in the door - which I haven't been able to get into on previous attempts!

Marty, have you ever been to Jones Beach? It's one venue you don't have to worry about what time the lot opens. It's the beach, they have to let you in.

Got 2 for sect 14L. Funny, not excited like I was in the early 90's.
Well, I'm psyched that I'm finally gonna get to meet ya. :D

If you think 156 is expensive, well you get to meet LIPH. That's worth the price of admission alone.

And who knows, there could be a beachball birth, c section.

I think I may have to arrive a little earlier this year, last year I had to wait for my friend and got there around noon. Think I am going to try to get over there in the morning this year.

It actually comes out to a total of $362.95!
156 x 2
21.50 x 2 - Convenience Charge
2.50 - Ticketfast
5.45 - Order Processing?! WTF - this isn't included in the convenience charge?
Ciao!

Well, I think the drive up from AC is like two and half hours, someone correct me if I'm wrong. If you are staying on Fire Island, well thats different. Fire Island is tricky as you can't drive to Fire Island. You have to take a ferry over to Fire Island and park your car in either Bay Shore or Sayville at one of the ferry terminals. the drive from Bay Shore is about 25 minutes or so, not bad at all, Sayville you can add about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The ferry ride can vary depending where on Fire Island you are staying.

hey everyone! I've got the time off so will be there.. not sure what we're doing for tix (may have club seats but we'll see!). Course, I'm fine with hitting the beach and just chilling there... not sure if I'll have the bar however. We have to work out details, which vehicle is going, if theres room... my bar and 'accessories' tend to take up the majority of an SUV!

I should have more details soon!
woohooo!!! Was bummed to have to cancel out on Indy so this makes up for it!

Pretty bad when it takes 12 hours to get back to the thread! I LOVE my job...I still have one, so that's good, right?

Sorry for the delay in replying, Larry - to answer your question, Moe & I have never been to Jones Beach - although we've been wanting to do this show forever!! (The Buffett Buckett List, I believe it's called?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We're probably going to be driving down from the Buff - about 7 hours, according to Google. (Although we could get McArthur on SouthWest for $49 pp each way - hmm...) I booked the BW Bar Harbour last night. Assuming we drive, do we have to worry about 'rush hours' around "The City" on our way down or way out? Should we plan a day or so for sightseeing on Long Island - or is there just not too much to see? Do we bring beach chairs for the tailgate ? Can we bring anything for our favorite barrister (besides Heather)?

We're very excited!!! (Both by the venue and the participants) :D
