Who's Going to JB @ JB, 08.26.09

I enter from Ocean Parkway into the same lot as Al & park right near him by the fence & I never pay to get in -am I just lucky ??- there was only one time where they wanted $$ but I showed them my tkt & they let me in

I have done this too...never had a problem. However, you never know if things will change. Zach's Bay is supposed to be closed in late August, so I'm wondering how they're going to handle the lot that day...will they know enough to open the lots early for Buffett fans?? Will they only open the lot a few hrs before the show? I'm hoping we don't have to tailgate at Field 4, next lot over. No water view from there! I wonder if any BNers know any Jones Beach workers who would give us some info...

I forgot about the closing. Hope it doesn't put a damper on us early arrivals.

I agree...but I guess in a worst case scenario we could park in Field 4 which is a very short walk next door to Zach's....but not very *scenic*...

I guess we are both lucky...I haven't paid yet. But then there's nobody there when I show up. Except some seagulls, and they think I'm crazy too.

I'd love to meet up with everyone at JB@JB - not sure how early I can get there - the person I may be going with has never been to a show before. Don't want to scare her off by insisting we leave at 6 am. If she can't make the show then my nephew (14 yrs old with a few JB concert experiences) may come with me.
