Not so far back, Jimmy used to play in Vegas right around Memorial Day weekend

I'd be a good bet (pun) to be at this date if I can get back into the EMPLOYED column

I think Ms Sammie Dog and I will be on board for this one.

I am hoping for LMS in May.

You can't always get what you want . . . . BUT . . . if you try some times, you'll get what you need.

Dave - Go to shows you haven't been to. Jimmy laid out the entire tour if you have the disposable $$$ to travel by all means take in the world. How about Sunny Southern Cal? Phoenix AZ? Toronto? Or the historical tour date that is Manassas, VA? In either case Jimmy will be at these spots and a party is sure to follow . . .

I'd feel bad for you if you weren't going to Hawaii Let's hope for LMS in May & October. Like Matt says try new things. Chula Vista-Vegas makes a nice combo in the fall. Going to try the Arizona-Vegas combo for the spring. Hopefully Live Nation will be good to us Monday

Well in my case this year it's not the "disposable" income, but rather the "time off" that's the issue. (And hopefully this stays the case, but you never know , which is why I'm being cautious)

We always go to a Vegas show in October and I think we will try to sneak out for this one too. Hopefully.

it will be interesting because I am also hitting the Phoenix show 2 days before. Oh and this time? I am staying at the damn MGM. both in May and October!

I had to think about that one to. I decided this year to be a little different and go to Vegas in May. There really is no particular reason why I am going in May other than the fact I'm so ready to see Jimmy again, and the wait until August just seems so long.

Do you think there is any chance he may also play May 23th, a week later, in Vegas, like he plays back to back concerts in the fall. The 23th seems like it would fit into his schedule since he is playing the 21st in Irvine, CA. Reason I ask is that I already have reservations for Vegas (at The Flamingo) starting the 23rd. Man, that would be great if that were to happen.

Yes, Jimmy has played April/May before, it is nothing new. In fact, IMHO the Spring shows are more fun, more energetic. The Memorial Day weekend show just about killed me, but damn it was fun.
So that being said, FinsUpinIdaho and Phunminnie are in. Been a few years since we went (because we were not too happy with the venue/city gouging the hell out of the phans) but it is a Spring date again.
In my best old man voice: "I remember back in the day when the pre-party was just off in a corner at the entry to the MGM park, and we would drink giant margs at Rodrigos the night before and the LVPHC asked us what we should name their new party at Tommy Rockers and we had to dodge flying flip flops from people losing them on the swing coaster ride and..."

That will be interesting to see if he plays that Saturday in Irvine or Vegas (or nowhere if Thursday is the end of that leg). If Vegas, that would be 4 shows this year in Sin City - maybe too much to ask for, but who knows.

Sheryl just called and said we are going to this one also! All right.... Kenny Chesney the week-end before in Kansas City! It is going to be an awesome summer!
