Jedi!!!!! Great to see you again this year hon. :)
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

HERE IS A THOUGHT.....RENT A BUS AND HAVE THEM PICK EVERYONE AT A HOTEL OF CHOICE.....IT WOULDN'T COST THAT MUCH PER PERSON.
Just got home, unloaded the Volvo and sat down to relax.....Marilyn slept pretty much the entire way home  .....Tommy, was thinking along the same lines....what if we all chip in and rent a medium sized U-haul. We meet and load everyone's stuff into the U-haul, and then cars are empty and people can ride together and take less vehicles... this way we can drive the U-haul in with Matt and Al's RV's (and anyone else who brings one) and have the entire BN party together in the RV lot. This way it doesn't matter if we get separated like yesterday....all the stuff is already there AND if we get rain the way we did yesterday, we have a large space to get out of the rain.

The U-Haul idea is a really, really good one...

I knew the "I can't because...." would start fast :D
Unfortunately these things are always like herding cats.

I was just hoping for some beach/shore time along with whatever we decide to do
Some customers of mine own a B&B on Nantucket, really basic place, not fancy or expensive, walking distance to everything EXCEPT "The Box"
I may email them tomorrow just for giggles and see if we'd get a deal if we brought a dozen
or so people. The Chicken Box always has good bands.

Right Jon????

I was also thinking southern NH or the Mass north shore would make it more central for the VT and NH peeps.

What a great time and while it would have been nice to have sun all day the rain added a certain element that made it fun. Without the rain we wouldn't have seen all those people streaking the lot during the hail. I was parked in Lot 13 and left at 11pm, it didn't take me as long top get out as I thought it would have, in fact I think it took longer for me getting into Lot 13 in the morning and parking than it did to leave. But in the end it all worked out with the parking, we were close enough to everyone. Here are my PG-13 pictures from yesterday, the R rated version is not fit for the web... :o

See, now, I'd much prefer a "sit and listen" acoustic set. :)

I was thinking of that phlocking we had at Mohegan in Jan. Just hanging out somewhere. Doesn't sound like many people can do it anyway. We'll have to keep looking! Probably something further out would work better in terms of planning for it

Matt how long for you to get out of the rv lot? We jumped in line around 1230 and were able to get out in half an hour jones beach might be an option, is there a good spot fot the rv? Not sure I want to take mine all that way. had to take a long shower to get that mud and slime off my feet The show was great. again, 2 excellent shows thsi year.

popcornjack wrote:Sounds fine. Now we need a location.
Like I mentioned earlier.. I have a big backyard in central MA. Had a band play till 5am in my dining room New Years Eve! Plus.. my neighbor is my mom! ahhahah.. she wont mind a party! Plenty of room for tents, tiki bars, whatever... downside is that I do live in the middle of nowhere! Only one hotel about 10 minutes away...

anyways, just throwing it out there! I always love the excuse to throw a party!

The last time I asked Steve about rates for Changes it was like $2k or so. However, hes doing a solo thing as well and may be a lot cheaper. Also, the Bahas own a bar near Mansfield somewhere.. will look for the info. Bet they'd be up for throwing something like this. More hotels but not as centrally located.. sorry Chris! Mr Rock Star!!!! hehe..

the Calypso Cowboys are a ton of fun!!!
