One of the best years ever for Great Woods! Got to meet a ton of new - wonderful people; I got to hear Tin Cup Chalice for the first live after dozens and dozens of Buffett shows all over the world . . . both Thursday and Saturday were a ton of fun. Everything worked out perfect, I thought. Even those p*ssy kids next to us on Saturday that tried to start a fight over something stupid.
Pat - always a pleasure hanging with you at GW (and Fenway . . . ).
Thank you for my Skater Mom Boy Toy t-shirt and numerous stickers that hundreds got to wear in my honor (literally) . . .

Just a few random thoughts and thank yous....
This was my first Great Woods show. It lived up to all the hype! I had a BLAST! Thanks to everyone for letting this Texas girl get away from the heat (it was 99 when I landed in Houston at 8:30 last night), blow off a little steam, and party her butt off!
Nancy - You did not have to buy that bottle of Sailor Jerry! I think I have a fondness for Sailors now
Tropic Al- It was great to see you and talk to yall again. I expect the handcuffs in time to use them for the Cincy show! Matt - your big pole was a beacon for us as we crossed the lot! Jack - thanks for bringing me the CDs for Christine. It is always great to see you and hang out. We still haven't done any Jagerbombs....
Lefty and Heather - SOO good to see yall! Sorry I don't remember meeting yall at the Tampa 07 show. That was a bad weekend all the way around for me.
I'll see yall in Chicago! Jon and Pat - good times...good times....
Shannon, Larry, Al-a-bastard, and Carol - I'm so glad we got to experience the weekend together. Yall rock! We will laugh about the weekend for years to come.
I send an open invitation to any of yall who have never been to a Texas show to join us next year. Springtime in Texas is the best time to be here. As Pat Green says "Come down to Texas and drink with me awhile!"

I want to thank everyone for being concerned over my failing health on saturday. I had a combination of pressure pain from sinusitus ( which is still plaguing me ) and a migraine from right shoulder strain/fibromyalga. It was like the perfect storm in my head that day.
Matt please tell Meredith that she was too sweet to leave your site and be on a mission to give me drugs and offer me the comfort of your cool rv if i needed it.
Lefty,Nancy, you're too kind for words. You both came over so often to see how i was doing and if either of you could do anything for me.
Jen, you've always been there for me, what else can i say? smooches and hugs g/f.
On another note, gunther and ragtop, you guys are the food gods. From what I heard,you two took the grilling/feeding the crew to a new level. I wish I could have seen you in the pouring rain.
I'm really bummed I missed such a great day but I did rally to see Bubba and the CRB.
Looking forward to next year's concerts.

it was great to see you again Janice ( it was nice not having to get up at 3am to get you to the airport though)....Shannon....great meeting you...your more beautiful in person then in the pictures!!!.....Heather and Andrew...what can i say , it's always great seeing you 2....wish it was for longer.....and to the many new people i met...can't remember names...Jedi....pretty funny that you and Lori are neighbors!!!
