It's one of the new attractions slated to replace the Pleasure Island.... Unfortunately that means the Adventurer's Club and the Comedy Warehouse are now gone
Actually, I was just at Disney World this week - Pleasure Island was pretty much all closed up. Disney Downtown was pretty quiet compared to everything else, which was actually quite nice. Crowds at the Kingdoms were pretty bad - luckily we stayed at a nice hotel (Caribe Royale - about 10 minutes from Disney World) that had a good pool for the kids - they spent about 5 hours straight in the pool on the last day while I just read. I am beginning to think that Disney is just not worth it - too crowded for the price you have to pay for admission.

yeah it is crowded this time of year when all the kids are on vacation...when my bro lived there we would go to the parks when there were no school vacations and it was very nice!

I took my son to Disney World in January. Great time of the year. Rarely had to wait in line for anything. You couldn't drag me there in the summer. I got 3 nights free hotel room, now they have package with free dining plan which is even better.

I sat next to a couple from the area on the flight out, and they said February is a good time to go. Maybe next time...but I think maybe Hawaii is better
I love disney. Been there in April, August, and September....August was the best it was HOT and no one wanted to be anywhere in the park, longest wait in one line was 15 mins....but that was also 11 years ago...
I do not remember all the details but.... the following were in my dream and we were in Vegas
My mom, one of my co-workers, Dutchy (who was looking for outlandish t-shirts), Vashon (who seemed to be in some kind of 'act'), me & Flippy (innocent by standers), PirateRN and I think some of the banqet staff from where I work.
I know Flippy and I were looking at t-shirts with Dutchy then we heard the parade was starting, so we ran over to see the parade, but it was not like streets in Vegas, more like NYC! There is an open section and we ran up and there was a double decker bus that came around with male dance revue - we were just 'innocently' sanding there next thing you know where were pulled by dancers and on the bus! Where my MOM was, along with PirateRN, whom of course was on a pole!
To back the dream up, Vashon was working on somekind of car act that does tricks....
I know strange! I only had one drink before bed last night and nothing really to eat!

oh, never mind - vegas.com changed me to only two nights there instead of the four nights I had put in - added another couple of hundred dollars - phfft!
but I CAN get a air/hotel package for under $400 for the May Buffett concert (too bad I will be in Amsterdam at a conference)
