Yesterday I booked... 5 nights at the Flamingo with air from Omaha $439! For us, that is a great deal

We are leaving on the early flight 7 ish. We have a large group of Shriners that are going out that week.

Tomorrow night we are hosting "Pirates in Paradise" party

at the Shrine center on 84 and Center. Public is welcome. Starts at 7pm. $15 gets you free rum punch from 7-8pm, Nacho bar, all you can eat burgers, cheap drinks, Captain Morgan, the Morganettes and a DJ
(St. joe Parrothead Billy Ray is assisting one of the DJs).
Parrothead attire accepted of course!

I know the Omaha parrotheads have bought a couple of tables.

Okay Karat - finally booked my room at the Flamingo - $50, $95, $95, $50 - plus tax.....now, all I have to get are the tickets!!!

We just booked rooms at the Flamingo for the 15th - 18th! $40 for the first night and $80 for Friday and Saturday. Hopefully nothing will make us cancel this year!! I have a meeting at Treasure Island and will be staying there on Sunday night!
Now that FFF III is over I will have this to look forward too...........

Frisco rocked! Awesome tailgate, of course. My virgin worked her magic at the sales table and absolutely kicked some a...had one jerky guy feeling so bad he just came back and gave us money for nothing. A great show with some surprises. Trying to burn CDs for newly converted virgins (already planning next year) but having technical difficulties, don't know why. Did the same thing recently for wedding music without issues. If I ever get it figured out, I'll burn a couple extra...I owe you one, Christine. I am a horse and buggy kinda girl in a spaceship kinda world!

Now, on to Vegas! I told Mike even if his school schedule interferes (we will know soon), I'ma goin'....I got a phew peeps I can hang with!

(Rooms at the Mirage for that weekend are back up to 175, 219, 219 .... not that I stay at Mirage on weekends anyway..)

For SNG I just looked at the website and they are higher yet, $225 for Friday & Saturday.

I cannot say it more....BOOK YOUR ROOMS NOW, you can ALWAYS cancel!

There can be a big convention coming in that weekend or another concert - like U2 is the following weekend at MGM. So now it is supply and demand, not recession - that we should have been out of a few months ago (as the recession trend has shown us)

Thank you for convincing me to book! I will be flying solo this year. Mike will have classes. Soooo, I'm thinking, I may call and add another night and stay Thur-Mon. I know I wanted a recuperation day last year, instead of getting up at 5:30 Sunday morning. I should be able to tack on Sun to an existing reservation withou getting slammed $$wise if I do it right away. Website is still down. I will call this morning, thanks Karat. When do you arrive and leave? Christine, you out there? How about you? Oh boy, girl's weekend!

Ok, I called and added Sunday night for the same rate. I'm good to go. It will make return flight cheaper and easier also...no layovers, good time out. I'll book air pretty soon too. Still trying to remember how early concert tix went on sale last year.
