If I decide to go to Vegas again this year, I'l have to go to this one. Had a great time at LMS last year and who doesn't want to hang out at Hooters all night.
Please come....I'd love to see you again!
I look a lot different now. I shaved my beard off and I'm letting my hair grow. I just got a slight trim Monday but that was the first time I got my hair cut since before Vegas.

Hey Vash - what you talking about camp grounds? (now this will cause everyone to look back on the posts)

I was planning on going home on Sunday, of course that can change....I would like to see "O" again...I think we agreed on that? If not whatever, I'm game...Just not Myster (sp) I have seen that twice already.

Read somewhere that Airstream is putting in rentals in several campgrounds - Key West (I bet Jimmy REALLY loves that one!), Mount Desert in Maine and Vegas (right next to one of the hotels, apparently).

The more the merrier for the show!! May change my plans to arrive on Thursday - there's time to plan that, I guess

I have not seen "O", so that would be a good one for me to see. I just don't want to leave on Sunday because of the mad rush to get to the airport with the rest of the crowds. I want to be lazy that day, and visit with the people that are staying around!!

Karat - when are you planning on arriving?

We are going to have to start planning Party Bus Part Deux! For those of you who missed it last year, I'm sure the ones who came will tell you all what a total blast we had. I'm thinking 4 hours this time, though....3 hours was just enough to warm up! Karat, ya gotta come this time! Just ask these guys!

Here's the link to all the rest of last year's party bus pics I have. FYI, my Mikey was like "No way am I getting on that pole...do we have to do this?" You will note the abundance of photos attesting to his attitude adjustment once we made a little latitude adjustment! Well, a virtual bus latitude adjustment, anyway.

Thinking about hitting a Vegas show in October.. where do you recommend staying? I like the Flamingo, I'm sure Margaritaville will be hopping! Are there any other hotels/parties that will be going on that I should consider also?

The MGM, Hooters and Flamingo will have the most Parrotheads and all will have pre and post parties of some kind with Hooters usually offering the most. LMS is usually on the first Vegas weekend but other than that the phlockings are about the same.

You can't beat Flamingo for the price and the location (plus Margaritaville and the street party are right there). Hooters is a good second choice, close to the MGM, but a further walk to the rest of the main casinos in that area. The walk from Hooters to the Flamingo is 20-30 min.

Dumb question, but we were in Vegas the weekend opposite of LMS last year - where is it usually held? Or does it change?

Hooters was okay, but I am thinking I want to stay at MGm this year. Anyone staying there?

Also, I think the Trop is close, too.

Hey Grams the more the merrier!!!

Vash - I will get in either LATE Wednesday, like I did last time or Thursday afternoon

Tropicana is next door to Hooters - across from MGM

There are no deals yet to show for October, I think in March they should be coming up, just watch the weblink below
