Too bad about Ilo. Glad I saw him in Key West while I had the chance! He's got quite the stage presence and it takes a lot of "presence" to get my attention off Peter Mayer.
In past years Buffett has done an encore with a song by a Canadian artist - Lightfoot's Early Morning Rain last year. I wonder what this year?
Attire du jour: Margaritaville "woman to blame" shirt under a Hawaiian with flowers and surfboards, shorts, sandals with no sox so you can see my orange nailpolish, topped off with a denim jacket with our big Maple Reefers logo on the back. Asst'd necklaces and a Club lanyard. Maybe a flowered or feathered hair thing.
Conga-rats on page 13 everyone! Not sure I can contribute much for the rest of the day. Safe travels and have big phun tonite!

Re: Who's going to Toronto on November 19, 2009?
Had a phantastic time.
Got to the pre-party where I met up with OttoCal and her husband John and SimplyComplicated and virgin phriend Kim. Had a couple of "pops" and hit the subway.
Got to our seats after the big climb and discovered they were high up, but not bad. Told to sit down and be quiet by the a$$holes behind us. NO ONE stood up in our area except for me. Enough of that. We went for a walk at intermission and discovered an entrance to the lower level that was not manned by a guard so we ventured in. Acted like we belonged and ended up 8 rows off the stage. NICE!!!!!
Spent the rest of the concert there except for the encore. Made it down to where they come off the stage. As Mike Utley walked off we yelled "great job Mike" and he looked up and thanked us. At this point if the plexi glass half railing had not been there when Jimmy left I could have touched him. We yelled "thank you to Jimmy" and he looked up at us waved and said "hey"
THAT WAS FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!!
On the way out of venue I ran into Migration Michelle and Gingerbreadman.
Grrrreat to see everyone. Sorry TO in the early winter sucks, but a good time was had by many.

We made it home safe and sound!! (After a stop at the Cheeseburger in Paradise...It was kinda sorta on our way home!)
My virgin phriend and I had a great time in TO and a blast meeting up with Caly, Steve and the Ottocals! She said when she gets back home she's gonna sign up here...I told her to make this thread her first post!
Todd, sorry we never got the chance to catch up with you...hopefully some show soon!

Hey- The OttoCal's are still in recovery mode, but we did make it to the Hockey Hall of Fame on our way out of town, then got home just in time to head out to our home-town hockey game
Will post some pics , we had a great time, what a fun show, although we go all the way to Canuckia and no 'Boat Drinks'? We get the stupid 'Yellow Submarine'? What up w/ dat??? Hrmph.
In my seemingliny never-ending birthday celebration, we are headed out to wineries today. And tomorrow.

Re: Who's going to Toronto on November 19, 2009?
Hope everyone made it home safe and with enough Jimmy mo-jo to last them the winter. We enjoyed the show but I have to admit it just wasn't the same with a roof and walls. What was the deal with people sitting? From our seats I saw sitters on the floor-they should have been replaced!
It would have been nice to hear Boat Drinks and Christmas Island would have gotten me in the holiday spirit for sure-but oh well.
Until next time-Happy Holidays to everyone and we will see you next time around!
