Re: Who's going to Toyota Park on August 15th?

Post by Snowparrot »

We were dancing in the rows, on the ground level, but it was tight. There were portapotties in an area behind the stage, but I'm not sure we were really supposed to go there. There was beer there, too, and other food, and shirts.

You can crash with Nikki (irishcajunphan) but NOT if you're an axe-murderer.
(Nikki: I can't see what you've got on Café Press.)

I'm working on this "Premium Parking" they are advertising . . . .
2 $60 spaces amongst 30 people is $4/pp.
For the room it may be nice!
Otherwise we file in with the Train Method.

I'm guessing if you DONT go premium parking, you have the same 1 car length as before? :o
Edit.... yep :(

However parkings really not a problem if you're in the first row and you arrange your setup in FRONT of your car... I think those premium spots were sold last year as well, but they were on the far side of the lot loaded sideways but facing the venue....

I just wish they'd increase the "standard parking" by one-half car length, otherwise you really can't walk around....

They did not sell premium parking last year. We did have a VIP section in front of us which no one used until 6pm. Shame on me for not setting up there. I knew 4-5 car widths wide would be enough length but I didn't expect the squeeze from the side.

And I don't want to risk not being near an aisle or in the front with the space . . . .

Between 30 concertgoers its a mere $4 per person. Its a tiny expense to party like god intended. With that much room I can bring plenty more fun.

Mjeischen, hope to be able to find you and your crew and witness your antics. BTW, my friend says the pic of you drinking necter from the nipple of some strange woman at Davenport turned out great. :o I will have to forward it to you as soon as I get it.

I'll make sure I can be found. If we end up with Premium Parking everyone will know the vicinity to find me in and I will expect all the usual suspects to stop by.

BTW Great Deal on cheap T's at our Walgreens . . . Maybe slap a Parrot-Dice Lounge logo on them and have some wet t-shirt contests. Gotta get creative if I'm starting at 9am that morning.

Bah its free for you. We'll just have to have a healthy "make-out" session . . . .

Some stranger slapped a kiss on me on the main floor last year as I was walking to the bathroom . . . no idea who it was but it was kind of a rush. I told Amanda and she just laughed. Everyone should experience a random good kiss from a decently drunk stranger of the opposite sex.

Hmmmmm...have to check the avatar out.
WOW!! Wouldn't mind finding a few of those friendly strangers in passing. Took me a half hour to get to the bathroom and back last year, that would have made it much more fun!! :wench:
