Well, if I can keep up my motivation, I may just work myself out of my chore list by tomorrow afternoon! w00t!! Got Radio Margaritaville on and jamming on some spring cleaning (if anyone wonders, bath scrubbies are AMAZING at washing window screens! Learned that a few minutes ago when I had the screens in the tub and forgot the scrub brush. Used the scrubbie that needed an excuse to be changed and decided it has a second life as the screen scrubber from now on....)

Anyway, I digress. Hope everyone is having a great weekend--weather is much nicer than I thought today--almost 80!!! Got the garden in and once the kitchen and living room are cleaned I think I will make up a batch of ritas to enjoy on the deck with the fresh salsa that will have aged almost to perfection by then....

Oh, and BTW, I learned that 4 jalapenos in salsa are a bit much....seems to burn a bit more than I like on the way out...

Friday the 14th is the practice day. Traffic in the city is very heavy this weekend. Anyone staying in the city and driving to the show down I-55 South will be going opposite of traffic so it won't be to bad unless you leave for the show after 3:30 - 4:00 pm then it will be rush hour traffic. I-55 North may be a problem in the morning.

If anyone is looking for something to do on Friday or Sunday the show is great. Just be aware that a B1 Bomber and a hangover are not a good combination

Well you're coming from Kentucky and driving through Indiana . . . . Not much I am gonna say can possibly improve that scenario . . . .

But how should we approach the venue?

65 will bring you North of the Venue. I'm not sure if you are staying anywhere while in town. All roads lead towards Chicago so you will likely see traffic most of the time you are in Illinois getting to the venue due to the Air and Water Show.

Are you driving straight to the venue from IN? If so you will be taking 294 North which shouldn't be effected much by the Air show traffic but it is under construction like every other expressway in the state.

It's just been too nice out to lock down in front of the computer. I built a beachside paradise in my backyard this weekend. I need to get the painting done but I'll post pics when I'm done.
