I was hoping to see Mac again, but he's playing in Chicago on Aug. 28 (night before the Alpine Valley show). I don't know if he would schedule another Chicago performance so close together. Club Trini played on Friday night last year, maybe they'll put something together yet. I hope somebody's playing somewhere.

Ok. I found a really cool tiki/rum bar with 7,000sf, 2000 is outside on a deck- I'm emailing them to see if they'll book anyone. From what I can tell, their schedule and the schedule of everyone one else is open that night (although that could just mean a thank-you band party).
Jake is playing at the Tiki Terrace on Sunday evening- I doubt we'll stay for that since Tom probably shouldn't take Monday, Thursday and Friday off in one week.

your husbands name is Thom, not Tom. You'd think you would know that after all these years!

OK, Candyman and I talked this afternoon, and we are making plans for the tailgate on the 8th.
Candyman and Mrs. Candyman will bring their grill, and supply cheeseburgers, buns, etc.
Figure out what you want to contribute to the tailgate, and post it, or PM me and I will get it added to the list on page 1
Feel free to add any other info you want posted (hotel, other weekend plans, etc)
And we wil figure out where we will meet Saturday to "caravan" over, though based on last year's experience, everyone will need to know where to go as there are lots of traffic lights around the venue and the group will get separated en route.
and if I haven't added you to Page 1, remind me and I will get that done too!

Actually I'm thinking I'll likely bring some Parrot Bay if I can get it (that stuff is pretty good for a malt liquor)....
I also have 3 chairs I can bring for people to sit down in under our gazebo...
As far as food I'll be willing to get cheese, burgers, etc... let me know if I need to contribute (PM me...)

Yep-meant the 8th. corrected it. could blame it on the drugs, but I have been off them for 6 weeks and I don't think oxy stays with you that long
Candyman will take care of the burgers, cheese, etc, but I am sure we can find something else for you to bring!

We will also have the truck, soooo the attendants will probably direct us along the fence again, but that's ok, there is alot more room along the fence than in the middle! So, if everybody wants, consider trying to get along the fence line together..... we will definetely have more room to spread out...
They have a rum bar, but they also have a really great beer selection. I think I've just accepted that we're dumping our stuff off at the hotel and going straight there.
