Absolutely no alcohol! It's like a Methodist wedding...




All kidding aside, keep the bottles out of sight & the drinks in a cup & you'll be fine. We were in the RV lot last year & 1 group had bottles out all over the place & the Fun Police made an example of them.

Stopped at Wegman's after my class tonight and stocked up on the remaining supplies. As I went through the check out the cashier asked me if we were having a picnic. I replied no that I was stocking up for tailgating at the Jimmy Buffett concert in Virginia this week. She laughed and then told me that she has been to twenty seven shows. When she got through my order she noticed that I had not gotten any tp and made sure I went back for some. What a riot.

Two days of work is all that stands between me and the fun, bring it on!

I stopped by Party City tonight to make sure I had some extra leis (ya never know who I'm gonna lei! ) and there was a lady coming out. She saw my Parrothead license plate and told me that if I as looking for Jello shooter cups, they were already out of them. She had a Parrothead license plate too. We chatted about the upcoming Nissan shows. It was a cool spontaneous parrothead moment!

I love those. I ran into a couple Parrotheads before a Great Woods show this year. At the liquor store at 9:00 AM. We were both loading up on Corona, tequila, and rum, and we both immediately knew what the other was doing. Instant camraderie.

I can't seem to find the "Who's going to Mac McAnally" thread but I just bought my tickets to the show at The State Theater. So, hopefully I'll see a bunch of you folks there since I'm not going to be at the Sat show. Someone save me a seat...

So, I called Nissan to ask what time the lot would "unofficially" open and what the parking fee would be. All the girl would keep saying is 3 p.m. I finally just told her I would be there at noon with money in hand for early parking fee.

They usually posted something on the website especially for Buffett, but now that it's part of Live Nation there's nothing noted special for the show.

What time is everyone here planning on heading to Nissan to get started with the party?

I wouldn't worry too much. I've never been turned away at the gate of any Buffett venue. Besides, if thousands of us are there before noon, what are they really going to say?

Ok, I really need some help/advice/etc.

There was an overhead view of Nissan somewhere in this thread that showed the venue with the road leading in. Every year we come from Annapolis and take the first exit for Nissan where we come in and make a left into the crazy parking lot.
I noticed on the map I saw that there is another parking lot where it looks like you take the 2nd exit and come down and makre a right into this other parking lot. Is this that Critterpalooza (sp?) lot your talking about?

Regardless, is this lot a better lot to be in so you can get out quicker? Is this the VIP lot? Is the tailgating good over there even though it looks like a small lot?

Help, I need advice. I hate taking over an hour to get out after the show, and may want to try this lot.
