I forgot to tell you!... I was hanging out at my car trying to call LN or TM, and one more of your entourage got out of your truck and I was like, "They let you sleep a little longer?" How many of y'all piled in there?

There were only 4 in my truck and 2 others in Tim's car. Jim (the really
tall guy) came just to help us get a lottery ticket. He and "Chewy" were
playing poker (and drinking) the night before and were still playing poker
(and drinking) when I arrived @ 4:30 to pick them up

It was an
interesting ride up to say the least!

If you look through the previous pages of this fine thread you'll find several references to hotels in the Manassas area favored by BNers.....not sure about campgrounds, though.

There's a Bowl America behind the Sunoco on Balls Ford/Sudley. The Udvar-Hazy Center (Air and Space museum near Dulles Airport) isn't too far off either.

Yes, Bull Run is very near all the hotels, did about a 7 mile hike there last year on the day between the 2 shows. Made for a very sore Monday(not nearly in as good a shape as I thought I was

and sandals did not help ) They do have short tours that are about a mile in total length.
