UPDATES AS OF 9/2
Note: Skoolie and Sanjuro are getting ready to hit the road!!! We may be without internet access for the laptop, so this may be my last update. (Some of us aren’t lucky enough to score a two-star hotel at a one-star price!)

CONTACT LIST
I emailed the final list on Monday. If you didn't get the email, then try to get in touch with other tailgaters.It might mean that I didn't have your email address or that I don't have any of your info. Buffetteer rolecall is at the end of this post. The contact list is pretty much for your use if you're trying to track down your fellow tailgaters.

CURRENT CARAVAN/PARKING PLAN FOR THIS YEAR:
Meet at Lowe's (get there as early as you wish, but 11 does seem to work out because...) and be ready to have wheels in motion towards Nissan AT NOON.

The point? SECURING CRITTERVILLE GROVE. (as well as getting into the good stuff as soon as possible... rrrrruuuuuuummmm) And it helps to go to the venue together so we can set up together. Note: In order to park close and get under the trees, the caravan parks in the VIP (or premier) parking lot which requires payment AT THE VENUE. Word is it's $30 this year.

GOING TO THE MAC SHOW?
Per Linda:
Dogwood Tavern 132 W. Broad St. Falls Church http://www.dogwoodtavern.com from 3-7 PM. The (VERY) nice back patio has been reserved and it's right around the corner from the State Theater and even faster if you walk through the parking lot out back. They are even going to let us play trop-rock music.

WHAT TO BRING
Smiles and lively energy!
Generally we've shared space and everyone has brought their own stuff/food as well as food/drink to share. So if you've got it, bring it!

But just to have a better idea of what you can bank on being available, in case you're limited in how much you can load up in your vehicle, please PM me if you want to list what you're bringing: such as: EZ Up Tents, grills, tables, etc.


But to give you an idea of what others are bringing…

Okay, so at the advice of *coughcough* someone *coughcough*, I'm posting here the same babble I typed at the 9/5 thread:

The Lowe's parking lot (or any of the lots in that shopping center) was an excellent meeting point. From some of the posts so far, it looks like most pholks want to stake our claim to the tree-area (Critterville Grove?)

When I send out the contact list, I'll include the Lowe's address as well as directions. I know some would like to caravan from Bob Evans, but trying to keep a pack of cars together on I-66 is a huge challenge.

Be sure to send me your info for the contact list (for both 9/3 and 9/5) so that all of us can know who to look for / wait for to caravan to the venue from Lowe's.

Yes, 9/3 is a Thursday night... we may be fewer in number, which only means one thing: WE EACH MAKE UP A GREATER % OF THE TAILGATE AND HAVE TO PARTY EVEN HARDER! Consider it a warm up for 9/5.
