Well, I'm not even going to bother with the Internet even though TicketMaster and Live Nation are finally accessible for visually impaired people. I have Ticket Master's express number programmed into my speed dial for Monday, and I can only hope that the Las Vegas ticket Gods are smiling down on me when I try to by a ticket.ScarletB wrote:No kidding, last I heard they are BOTH selling Tampa and GW, I think maybe because LN did such a beyond lousy job last weekend maybe it's been switched to TM. I can't believe I'm even saying this but I'd rather use TM since my credit card info is already loaded in. I guess I'll have both open and see what happens.UpstateNYPH wrote:For what it's worth in regards to Atlanta:
The first time I emailed Livenation, they told me only Ticketmaster was selling tickets and that Livenation would be redirecting to Ticketmaster.
The second time I emailed Livenation, they told me that Livenation and Ticketmaster would EACH have an allotment of tickets.
I give up
GAH!!
Live Nation and TicketMaster.

Earlier today when you went to Margaritaville.com and clicked on "Buy here" the GW show took you to TM, NOW it's back to Livenation. And YET, the concert is still listed on TM

I'm going to have to keep 2 windows open, there are two of us going into the office tomorrow thinking that work computers are a bit faster but if I open two separate computers they'll be in different offices!Tropic_Al wrote:Unreal! I think that is what we are going to do too! UGGGGH Truthfully speaking, there are worse problems in the world - this is just an annoyance. No matter what we will still go to Great Woods and hunt for tickets in the parking lot. I am NOT missing that tailgate!Tropic_Al wrote:Unreal! Re: Live Nation and TicketMaster.
What a cluster! I tried to get into the LN site for 15 minutes and couldn't ever connect. Tried TM at about 10:05 and it said there were no tickets available for the event (Tampa). Finally got into LN at 10:15 and was re-directed to TM to buy the tickets. Pretty poor reserved tix at that. I bought them anyway of course!
Around the same time I tried TM directly again (I was using two computers) and it said there were no tix available. WTH? So could you not buy tix through TM directly for the Tampa show? I wish I would've tried TM over the phone also but I didn't think TM would be selling tix.
Out of curiosity I've tried to look for tix again through both and it says there are no tix available. Did Tampa sell out? Anyone hear of a second show? Thx!

Re: Live Nation and TicketMaster.
Well, thanks to the info on this site, I tried calling LN directly and got better tix (one section forward of what I had previously). Out of the hundreds of concerts I've gone to, this is probably the most frustrating experience I've ever had buying tickets.

From what I have seen once Jimmy sets his shows at a venue he does not add any more, at least in recent momory it has been that way.PieceOfWork wrote:Out of curiosity I've tried to look for tix again through both and it says there are no tix available. The last time I think he did it was in 1997.jimsig wrote:From what I have seen once Jimmy sets his shows at a venue he does not add any more, at least in recent momory it has been that way.PieceOfWork wrote:Out of curiosity I've tried to look for tix again through both and it says there are no tix available. If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
