How is it that days before the two Chicago shows, and with no presale date that I know of, why is it that their are tickets available out on the web. On top of that their are tickets for the Alpine Show avialable on ticket vender sites, with no sale day set yet. All sections and lawn on many different sites.
As a long time Buffett fan I'd have to say that this is total horse s***, and if Jimmy is half the man i thought he was..he'd stop with all this Youtube/Google earth crap and start taking care of the fans that helped him get him to where he is right now. Telling us on youtube about the tour and letting us know where the venues are does us no good if we can't get tickets, that is unless we put a second morgage on the house. What with the winter still here up north we look forward to warm weather and Jimmy to arrive, but from where I stand it looks like the Summez going to s***.

Re: Tickets already out for Alpine and Chicago
This is a GREAT post in another thread that explains that. (whatever show/broker site you're looking at)
FruitcakeOnBoard wrote: As for the listings on Ticketsnow, there are two sources, one is season ticket holders who have already dumped their tickets and second the bigger cause is ticket broker speculation. . . . they are listing tickets they don't have on spec. For example, if I were a broker I could list tickets in the LAWN SECTION for $250. If someone was stupid enough to buy these tickets, I would then find the tickets at a much cheaper price and deliver them, If no one buys the tickets, no harm to me as the broker as I didn't have any tickets anyways. A lot of tickets on these sites are phantom tickets.

Re: Tickets already out for Alpine and Chicago
The tickets that are for sale are the VIP tickets. Almost every venue has a season ticket package for all seat levels.
If you do have a package, you are guaranteed a ticket for the show.

Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

I think the whole thing is called Capitalism . . .
I could be wrong but there are alot of questionable ways to make income. If I were to ever be shut out I would contemplate using a service like this. Why pay? Well they clearly have something I don't. I want it and I will pay for it - supply and demand. That is entirely my choice. I don't have to like my choices but they are mine to make.
Why pay someone to mow your lawn? Because you don't want to do it. THey will provide a service to fix something that burdens you.
Not having tickets would be an emotional burden I may not be able to bear.
I don't get bitter about brokers/scalpers . . . life is too short . . . someone beat me to the punch on tickets - good for them.

The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.
