I'm glad they cut to the end of the Denver/Cincinatti game.
Rarely do I get to see a miracle ending as it happens other than last second field goals but then those aren't really miracle endings. Great heads up play.

VIKINGS

looked great in the second half. Peterson 180 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Old Brett throws a TD pass to rookie who was 4 years old when Favre first signed. :pirate:

Couldn't stand McLoser's whining about his team bringing over Vick when it was reported that he wanted Vick to be part of the team anyway.

aeroparrot wrote:After seeing last night's game, I hope the NFL doesn't change the overtime rules. If you don't want the other team to win the game on the first possession of overtime, then don't allow them to score AND then, have your offense score the winning points, otherwise, if you allow the other team to score on the first possession, you deserve to lose the game. No ifs, no ands, no buts.
You sound like a decent fellow. Can you please explain this for the hard-of-thinking?

The NFL overtime system is perfect.

It is designed to do one thing -- break ties.

It does this.

The first team to score breaks the tie, so the first team to score wins the game.

Perfect.

While I really didn't expect much from Chicago tonight I was pretty disappointed with the outcome. But I have a memo for Lovie Smith on the "fake" punt from your own 30....

Cutler = VERY overrated, at least at this point in his career.

They say he's a franchise QB. Well, maybe, in time, but I'm not convinced yet.

What has he ever won? He was a loser in college and he never had a winning record in Denver.

In time he might be great. But I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Or two #1 draft picks.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm just an observer of the Bears' woes, with no vested interest. Here in CowboyCountry, we have our QB. And he didn't cost us a single draft pick:).

What an ending. I can't believe it. Brandon Stokely saved the game for the Broncos. :D :D :D :D
It was a great ending. Orton shouldn't have taken that sack though. If they had been able to kick that field goal, a miracle wouldn't have been needed. :-? I still have a feeling it'll be a long season... I'm still not sold on Orton or Sweatshirt Jr. Good to see that they finally got something on the defensive side though.
