RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - More than 5,000 runners are expected to test their stomachs during a charity race at North Carolina State University that goes through 48,000 doughnuts.

The Krispy Kreme Challenge is scheduled for this morning in Raleigh. It challenges racers to run two miles to the downtown Krispy Kreme shop, eat a dozen glazed doughnuts and run back in under an hour. The race is expected to raise about $30,000 for the North Carolina Children's Hospital.

Then you would have to be the speed portion of the team. Al is the doughnut specialist. Flock & I have both finished marathons and never met a meal that we didn't like.

Vicky can come along for medical support, we're likely to need it. :D
