Just to provide all the buffettnews members, I now understand after talking with my birdie, how ticket sales for Buffett will work. Using the comcast sale for today

1) Approx 1,000 tickets will be alloted to the box office. When you call live nation, they do not have access to these tickets. Just an FYI, there were 98 numbers passed out today at the comcast center and EVERYONE got tickets (Thur/Sat). There were scattered at the end. I thought it was funny that ACE ticketing came in their cars. Lots of kids probably hired by them were there too.

2) Most of the tickets, I was told 15,000, were sold through ticketmaster on line and on phone

3) Another 2-3 thousand (10%) were on the phone sale through live nation and they still have them
That number is 877-598-8497 (it is the only number)

4) Regarding Blockbuster, the closest location was in Manchester NH and most will not be available for sale until March. I just don't know if they have an allotment.


One last thing:

I was able to get one ticket at 10:30 on the phone for Saturday night, Section 2, Row A
Now isn't that something. I know its a single but cannot pass it up

Thanks for the confirm. I had read some wher that livenation would alot tickets like that and posted it in another thread. I was able to get sec 1 row p which is 10th row for Great Woods pretty much right away.

Looks like LN has tix in section 1. Just called, thanks for the # steele, & they had 3 in Section 1, row v. Not too shabby, considering.

Huh, I just called and was able to improve my seat for Tampa from Sec 5 to Sec 3

One sec - are these for Tampa??

I called 30 minutes ago for 2 and they only had Section 10.

Makes a big difference if you're only buying a single. I've never been further than 8 rows or so back. Not in the CENTER mind you but it's still a good view.

Just called them again and they have a single in sec 3, row p. Makes you wonder how many singles they are selling instead of pairs in that section...

I just called LN and got 2 for Sat at Comcast in section 5 row X!!

Thanks for the tip Steele. I wonder how the ticket limits would be enforced. Could you double your ticket limit by purchasing from TM and LN?

Just for the hell of it I just tried (1:20 am 2/8) to buy tix on live nation's phone number listed above. The woman told me it bounced out about 5 times before she could enter any information for payment. The way she described it was she went to click "buy tickets" and it would bounce it back to the beginning screen. The availability did go from row X to row Y in section 5 during the fiasco. With that I figured it wasn't worth the time to figure out what was going on for seats about 28 rows ahead of where I already have them. After being outside for Hannah last year, who cares, I'm gonna be there anyway !!!!!

So will that number work for the Pittsburgh show? I have class at 10:00 tomorrow so I won't be able to get online and buy them.

Yeah, like last year we were much closer for Frisco last year but it was me and my mom,[dad had drill weekend.] this year it's my mom,my dad, me and 2friends and we are 2sections back now.

Yes, this number is the only live nation number.

Also, you will get through on the phone. You will not get a busy signal like TM.

If after you say "buy tickets", you hear music, you are in. Othewise, the recording will tell you that all agents are busy and to call back later and the phone will disconnect.

The Live Nation phone number is really the way to go... 877-598-8497. I dialed a minute before the Camden tix went on sale and got 4 in section 100.
