This weeks news: Jimmy won't be playing.
Why don't these peeps just go to SB have fun and not worry so much.
Breathe in, Breath out....move on.
They sure have a great website with info about SB.
What bothers me is their attitude. If they don't want to deal with Jimmy's other fans then maybe they should just stay home. Like I've said before, I'm sure glad I'm bringing my own friends. (even some I haven't met yet) I guess we'll be able to tell the BNers from the SBHonline people, we'll be the ones smiling. :D
Scarlet, you really know how to "stir the pot" on the other forum.
Can't wait to meet you!!
I think they are starting to come around. They need to realize we pose no threat and just want to play nice with them. It will all be good.

I really don't usually do that but my job is very stressful and busy right now and they've gotten on my last nerve! I know I should ignore them but their smug attitude just got to me. Besides, we all KNOW Jimmy is going to be there and their assertions that they are SO connected and know it all didn't sit well with me either. Who are they to rain on our parade?

Like I've said before, we're bringing our own friends, we don't need them.

Pinging ScarletB....You are a fiesty one..they are talking about you on the SBH forum.....I think you are making them lighten up..LOL......When I am there in June, I will tell them to play nice !!!! All you need to do is pose with Marius and they will be afraid to hurt you.......Even I have felt their "snootiness" early on...All bark and no bite....they really are a good bunch. There is a "June Bunch" of regulars...KevinS, MikeR, MartinS, Toni, Eddie, Lloyd, Moi' included. They will all be at Great Woods in Sec. 3 (except me, front center), and will probably wear something with SBH or L'Avion or Select....Hard to miss...usually drunk and smiling. Think they will stand out?..I don't....

They're messing with PH's at the wrong time. I am extremely busy at work and in dire need of the vacation that's coming up next week! I think I'll be behind you in Sec 2 on Thurs Row Q, only single I can find in Sec 2

Since we have never been to either it would probably make more sense to explore St. Martin and my dream has been to go to Anguilla before Jimmy ever played there. I have had to breathe in, breathe out a few times. Decisions decisions.................

We were looking at something similar but looks like it is going to be cheaper just to stay at St Barts. Just did the three island trip (SXM, AXA, SBH) last December and Anguilla is the best so make sure you get there. If you want to get away from the tourist junk and traffic of SXM then Anguilla is the place to go. I actually preferred it over St. Barts. Although it could be because we stayed at CuisinArt which was spectacular. Certainly worth at least a day visit.

The last I heard the stage on the dock is booked all week for the Blues Festival they are trying to put together and there hasn't been a "coming to terms" for Jimmy to use it. He may just play at LeSelect - guess we'd better get there early since it's so tiny! However, there isn't a lot of money for the Blues Festival so it may fall apart before November comes anyway. I'll be happy if I catch him and his guitar at Baz Bar some night.

Any new info on the St. Barts concert? Is it still a rumor or has anything official been posted.

Considering that the woman who posted it is married to an islander and a journalist on the island AND is connected to the tourism board I'd say this is probably decent info. :D
So far it doesn't say if it's a ticket situation or not. If it's first come first served we'll have to have a BN attack plan once it gets closer!

I know I should know this but when are you arriving and where are you staying? I'm there from the 5th to the 17th. MacP & Tag from the 5-20 I think.

Scarlet we will be in St Barts the 2nd and leaving the 9th. Kinda wish we would have stayed an extra day.

We are staying at Le Petit.
We are traveling together with rKoener.
I am all about early arrival for the day, staking our post then maybe we can all tag for breaks throughout the afternoon.

When I was there for the 50th there were no tickets, gates, blah, blah...just first come, first served, walk up and listen to the man play. He used a yacht (homeport was Alaska on the stern) that was tied up aft end in, they all hung out on board there, and then walked through the crowd up on stage. The stage is at the wharf right around the corner from Le Select, easy to find. It's small, I backed up a bit and took the shot below, not very good, tried to lighten it up, but maybe that can give you an idea. Not very good pics anyway, I was more interested in listening, drinking, and havin' a good time!
