Nice I love icecream & Carib it doesn't get any better than this !!!

20 more days YIPEE !!!!!

Should we make lunch & dinner reservations prior to arrival ? We never know what the day will bring but if we should I guess we should start figuring out where we want to dine . I read on SBH if you have reservations you get the better tables & views . Any thoughts . . . . . .
We can shuttle both back and forth as we take turns holding down the fort at the quay! Nice that it's reasonably closeby!

La Route Des Boucaniers is just down from the Quay. It is an open air bar and restaurant. Le Select should be manageable during the day, hopefully grab a tray of cheeseburgers for everyone waiting at the Quay. As far as Carib, not sure how the Gendarmes look at drinking in public. I've never tried, always been at Le Select.

We still haven't picked a spot to meet on Friday before Marius' speech. Should this be it?

We are good with La Route Des Boucaniers. I know somewhere we said about 4pm. Is this still the time we decided? Yet another great pic Dave. I love taking pictures. I can't wait to go. We are having a big outbreak of flu at our high school. I told my daughter either get it now or please wait till I get back. Has me a little worried. When she gets sick, she really gets sick. Saying prayers that we ALL stay healthy.

Hey girls, I'm picking up the shirts today!!!! :D

..Breaking news.....for all those boats that jumped on the "free Buffett concert" from SXM....St. Barts Port Authority has just issued their Rules Of Entry for Gustavia Harbour that all INTERNATIONAL vessels that are carrying commercial passengers be certified for INTERNATIONAL travel......all those filled up day tripping vessels ARE NOT certified for such ....Maybe drop them off at Columbier and let them hike????????LOL LOL .... Should ease up on the crowd a little, Non? More Carib to go around...I have been there for a Carib shortage...not pretty....

I just caught this on SBO also. I've been thinking how we will keep hydrated if the crowd gets too thick to early. Then again hydration means the other must take place.

Geed, maybe this will help, you think? I wonder if they can all apply for the proper papers in time for the 7th? Hate to see some hopeful people not get to come over, but then again I am kinda selfish.

Hey, as long as they are willing to stand BEHIND us, they can all come!!

I think it may have been the islands attempt to keep it from being a fiasco. And don't worry Shirley, we'll have each others backs for potty breaks! :D
I can't believe that 3 weeks from RIGHT NOW we'll probably already be standing on the quay!

I have purchased a backpack specifically for this trip (for those hikes to the beach and Autour) and it has an insulated section that holds several bottles of water plus another one on the outside. It's not big enough to be a pain if I bring it on Saturday. It's also going to carry some clothes on the trip down in case I get separated from my larger bag.

Why do people who are sick insist on coming to work? Where I work we are encouraged to stay home and not infect everyone else.
I work at a bank and there are Purell dispensers attached to the walls outside all the bathrooms, behind the teller lines and randomly in the hallways. We also have them on the counters where people fill out their deposit slips and such. Even my grocery store had a big dispenser at the front door.

Oh no don't talk of a Carib shortage LOL !!! Steve ( my husband ) wants to get a case as soon as we pick up the rental car . Does match sell cases of beer ? I know it sells wine what about liquor ? I'm sure his plan is go to the villa then get beer and food for the villa. Plans sound perfect to me then hit the beach and blue waters !!!! Oh yea RELAX we are in paradise !!!

..Match has it all....good selection of spirits and cases of beer/wine..Very nice selection of Champagnes....don't forget a few cases of drinking water..you will go through a lot more than you think.....The only thing they didn't have that I missed was, even though they have Cuervo Gold tequila and Gran Marnier...but the Cuervo is not the "premium" (on the upper label) but rather the "respado".....a lot more smoky or mesquite, either way I don't like it....Also, try to get a 1 euro coin at the airport...you will need it to unlock a shopping cart and you get it back when you put the cart back. They also don't have plastic or paper shopping bags, you either buy a canvas one or try to find an empty cardboard box...I bring an old one from home in my luggage....There is a "wholesale" food distributor on the high road out of town called Tom Foods.....cheaper for beer and water....

Can they change it when it was copied from the St Hazard's site? If you go to that site the mistake is there.

What is the time difference between the US East coast and St. Barts, if any?
