I said the same thing 10 years ago. The thing is, you never know for sure what the future will bring. I was wrong 10 years ago - I didn't know about this year. So, I'll say the same thing now, but hope that I'm wrong (again).
Good point Bahston, I figure I have to get back to St Barts looooooong before 10 years but will have to plan our future trips there according to the next 10 years to we hit it again...... fingers crossed for another bash. I have seen in my family enough how things like health can change things with a snap of the fingers.
Every time we have been to St. Barths we hear the stories "Jimmy was here two weeks ago and dropped into Baz and played for an hour".

I guess the moral of the story is - go to St. Barths as much as you can!

I will get the DVD's burned of the limited footage I have today.
I wasn't so upset at missing him at Baz but it did disturb me that those REALLY annoying 4 women from Sunday night were there when he played. I guess money really doesn't buy class after all. :wench:

And Shirley, I agree, you can't wait for "later". Do what you can when you can if the opportunity arises.

Great pics Carol. Enjoyed once again reliving SBH. Le Ti for sure next time!! My brother and family were in town this weekend and got a kick out of the Youtube video. They also enjoyed our video of the planes coming and going on St Jean.

Dave, thanks!! I have one more step to completing some of mine. I am stuck.......... I need an Apple expert.

Yes! Thank you so much!! We caught and found out that he was planning on leaving the island in 3 days. Left his studio with 3 items!! We saw him in town 2 days later needing a ride to Tom Beach Club so we gave him a lift.

Thanks again. :D

Love the hotel or villa kitty photos! I always take pictures of cats on vacation too. The Marriott in St Thomas has a "community cat feeding station" and the activity center has an adopted cat in their shop.

st. barth's has a feral cat problem which i'd love to get under control. one night we saw at least 6 kittens (really young) wondering around. pam and i just wanted to take them with us.
we had a cat visit us at the hotel we stayed at for 3 days. Then when it was time for the villa. The lot next to the villa was empty and our yard seems to be in the cat path. The tabby cat that visited us every day was domesticated and such a love bug!! we hated leaving him.

I remember a cat on St Vincent that came to our table at breakfast every morning...It is hard to leave them.

Here is a write up on the St Thomas program. Anguilla has a program too.

"The Humane Society of St. Thomas’ Cat Café program begins to address the feral cat overpopulation on St. Thomas, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The program was originally adapted from the Cat Café program of the McKee Project in Costa Rica. Designed for tourist locations and resort properties, the Cat Café program provides spaying or neutering, feeding and veterinary care for small colonies of cats (typically no more than 6-20 animals). "

When we were on St. John they had cans for donations at all the shops for such a program. We had a cat and her 2 kittens visit our villa 2x a day there. In the guest book people would write about the cat and her condition etc. They would also purchase food and leave it at the villa, paying it forward. I called the local vet on the 2nd to last day to see if she would come and trap her to get her spayed but she was too busy. She asked me if I would do it but we ran out of time.
When we return to St. Barth's I'm going to ask about interest in getting that Cafe program started.
