OK so I get home Friday night.. we must have lost power
all the clocks are blinking. well all but one. (more on that later)
it couldn't have been for too long because the
TV does not need to be reset (it keeps time for about 4-5 hours after it loses power)

but I did not look at the one clock that "did not need reset" it's late,
I'm working OT the next day, I needed a drink and dinner...

so this morning I look it's 15 minutes fast.. (yep it's a digital)

anyone??? I have no clue. :o :o

In all seriousness - I'm thinking power surge.

I thought "power surge" as well... the digital clocks are controlled by "internal clocks" and in the right circumstances, certain voltage surges can cause the internal clock to "speed up" (In electronic terms, more voltage equals more current, more current equals a shorter cycle)....(Some people increase the current on older microchips to "overclock" them, but this is NOT recommended.)

But in all honesty, I think for the most part a power surge causes most clocks to blow out before this happens...
I would verify that the cycle on the clock is now working normally, I'm going to guess that it will always be fast from now on...

Either that or "Welcome to the Twilight Zone" :D
