We have some good news. They were able to drain some fluid around her head this afternoon to relief pressure. When they did they got a better view of the tumor. The doctors think they may be able to do a biopsy.

Carly is still in the ICU, but is resting and eating. The doctor's were able to perform a biopsy and we are waiting for the results. She will start radiation therapy tomorrow. Thank you for your continued prayers and phin power.

There is always hope!!!! One of my friend's daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor when she was 4 or 5 years old. She was prayed for weekly at Mass, had prayer groups praying for her, had fundraisers and plenty of positive support from our community. She is now 13 and is doing beautifully! She still has a tumor but it is smaller. She still has all that positive support for her and her family. I believe that's what keeps them going. So I'll keep your friends daughter and family in my prayers for a similar outcome!!!!

We received some good news from Carly's family today. The biopsy came back and the tumor is a stage 2 and is benign. It has spread quite a bit, but there is hope. Thank you all keeping her in your thoughts and prayers, it is working.

The post treatment MRI was today and the results were awesome. The tumor is the size of a pea and outside of the brainstem. The doctors think that the remaining radiation in her body should be able to finish it off.
