Heads up to all locals and visitors to Chicago, including this year's concert-goers... there are Real Pirates in town!! :D :D

Real Pirates Opening at the Field Museum, Chicago, February 25 - here until October 25, 2009!

Set sail aboard the Whydah at The Field Museum in Chicago! From National Geographic and the team that produced "Tutankhamun (remember Jimmy wearing the Tut hat in Tinley a few years back?) and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs," the "Real Pirates" exhibition features more than 200 artifacts, including everyday objects, personal items, and treasure chests of jewelry, coins, and gold from the first fully authenticated pirate ship discovered in U.S. waters. Step on board a re-creation of the ship's stern, walk into the captain's quarters, and go below deck to discover what life was like aboard a real pirate ship.
