He could play up in the North of England and stay with us anytime!! The Victoria Theatre in Halifax is a good venue - if it is good enough for Status Quo it could be good enough for Jimmy. They take all the seats up in the stalls and it has a wonderful atmosphere. This week went there to see the Merseybeats, Searchers, Wayne Fontana and John Walker from the Walker Brothers - fantastic show.

Nadirah at her show on May 2 stated, they were doing 2 shows in Paris, one big show and a smaller show to feature her and Jake. Said she would therefore be spending her birthday in Paris.

That doesnt make sense, since if Nadira's birhtday is Oct 14th, they already have a show scheduled on the 15th in California

Sorry I missed you in Tampa this year - I was away in Spain.

Nadirah's correct date of birth is September 16th - promise! She shares it with my 10 year old!

Just a stab in the dark, might be too big.
Ronnie Scotts would be good. It even has a Gourmet Burger Kitchen across the street.
My moneys on Ronnie Scotts - its their 50th anniversary this October.
It is to London what the New Morning is to Paris!
I guess all we have to do is wait - again

I was disapointed by the Paris show I got to last year; the club was a dump and the sound was abysmal, surely an artist of Jimmy's calibre could hire a decent PA and not be at the mercy of the vagueries of the house' system...

all IMHO of course!!!
I know this is your opinion, but are you kidding me?? They didnt even need a sound system, cause we were all so close to the stage. In my opinion this was the greatest concert experience that I have had the priviledge to have been a part of. In fact, because it was such a great time, I am having issues getting tickets for any of my local venues (nyc area) because I dont want to go back to being so far away from the stage after seeing the show standing against the stage and singing along with Tina and Nadira.
Anyway, I guess that is just my opinion. If Jimmy is willing to do a show in Paris?London/whereever every year in a small club, I will be running to go and see it every year.
I second that, it was the best show i have been to/taken part in

I had just moved to England the week before last year's Paris concerts, and couldn't make them... so I'm thrilled I'll be able to make them this year! I don't care where in Europe, I'll be there.
Thanks, Jimmy, for coming (in advance), and can you please send us some of that Florida sun??? I'm sick of English weather!

Well I'm glad to say I managed both of them! But I agree with you about the weather, its more like November than May.
I live 15 mins south east of Cov if you fancy meeting up for a drink with my g/f and I to shoot the breeze sometime - my local even has Buffett on the sound system!

Totally agree! It was more like a private party than a concert!!
After that, (my first & second Jimmy concert) I would not pay megga bucks to go to a stadium concert just to watch him & the band on a big screen.[/quote]
Paris is a fantastic venue, everyone who can should see him there and I agree it is like a private party. but big but, you really should see him at a stadium for the tailgating or the pre concert parties at Vegas . you also get to meet new BN people!
