I don't really know how to explain it, but he just does it for me. It's not so much his singing....He just exudes Texan, he's a real cowboy and a true gentleman. And I think he's very handsome to boot. [smilie=battingeyes.gif] :D :wench:

You will have to drink plenty to make up BIG TIME when you're in Frisco!

I'll have at least one for you tonight. :D
Thanks, and I'll have at least one oatmeal raisin cookie with my beer.

We has a sales meeting out at The Woodlands last year and they had Shiners on ice... all you could drink :D Based on my reading posts on BN, I thought I'd hit the Mother Load.... others thought I was just an easily amused Californian who did not understand Texas beer

I've seen a lot of places
I've been around the world
I've seen some pretty faces
Been with some beautiful girls
But after all I've witnessed one thing still amazes me
Just like a miracle you have to see to believe

'Cause God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

First He lit sunshine
Then He made the waters deep
Then He gave us moonlight
For all the world to see
Well everybody knows that the Lord works in mysterious ways
He took a rest then on the very next day

God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

God blessed Texas with His own hand
Brought down angels from the promised land
Gave 'em a place where they could dance
If you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance
Well I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas

Well I've been sent to spread the message
God blessed Texas
Well I've been sent to spread the message
Mmm...God blessed Texas

AATW . . . Tribute to Bob Wills

You got to dance with who brung you, swing with who swung you,
Don't be a fickle fool,You came here with a gal, who's always been your
pal, don't leave her for the first unattached girl, it just ain't cool
You got to dance with who brung you, swing with who swung you,
Life ain't no forty-yard dash, be in it for the long run,
'cause in the long run you'll have more fun, if you dance with who brung
you to the bash

I had a friend from Texas, he really had some style, he sang that good
old Western Swing and drove 'em wild
Then a talent scout from Vegas said "Boy, play and sing this way"
And in one short year he was broke and in L.A.
(Chorus)

You gotta be real careful what you wish for, 'cause you just might get
the whole darn thing, Be sure what you want is something you can use-
Or you might wind up half dead, just singing the Blues

(Chorus)
If you dance with who brung you to the bash---
Dance with who brung you to the bash

So it seems. Not sure we had them by that name in Canada, but we sure had pants with that cut and fit!
