New to me:

A movie called Canvas was filmed in Fort Lauderdale and is about a man and his son building a sailboat for some togetherness as they cope with the mental illness of the wife and mother.



During the building of the boat, Jimmy's Mademoiselle Voulez Vous Danser is featured in the movie. It's always neat to hear Jimmy's music show up when unexpected.

The movie was on the Encore channel tonight and will be on again on March 14.

mr conched came in the other day and told me he was watching Jimmy singing in the movie Rancho Deluxe he caught on a movie channel. (He didn't recognize a bit of the other music.)

Canvas really doesn't have a soundtrack, but it sure deserves one. It has some nice music in it along with Jimmy's song. (written by Lenny Gallant)

He played GTKP in Risky Business. He is a great actor.
