Hi,
Please give this guy a listen and consider bringing him in to Higher Ground for a show. I heard him last summer and he rocks. In case you've never heard of him, he is a ukele player from Hawaii who gets rave reviews wherever he plays. I can't put into words what a magician he is with his ukele, you have to see and hear him to believe it.
Check out his version of the George Harrison classic "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" , the Led Zepplin classic "Going to California" and other videos of his performances at Youtube. I promise you you won't be disapointed.

He's in New England this spring, please consider adding him to the HG schedule.
Thanks,
Chris

Good job. I loved seeing Jake in my hometown, and I'm sure they'll love him up there. Just make sure the venue has some warm clothing for him! Maybe some woolies from the Johnson Mills.C-Dawg wrote:Thanks....he truly is a musician. Will there be a snowparrot sighting in VT this summer?Snowparrot wrote:Ah, Burlington's not that far from me
Very Cool! I tried to convince Stowe Performing Arts to put him on their "Music in the Meadow" series as they've had Natalie McMaster and other soloists. They didn't think "He could carry a whole show" Morons.C-Dawg wrote:I'm going to take a little credit for getting this show to Higher ground? Here's my email.....

I wish I had some vacation time left I'd take that entire week off!!But I'll be there for sure!
Anyone who can put Franz Schubert, Led Zeppelin, George Harrison, Cindy Lauper and his own compositions in the same show and not only make it fit but make it sound incredible is truly a maestro.C-Dawg wrote:Thanks....he truly is a musician. Just saw them at the Beacon Theater here in NY last month. Buddy wasn't there, he had a heart attack, but it was a great show. Shawn Colvin had some badass shoes.C-Dawg wrote:Did you see who they've announced for the summer series at Shelburne Farms?
Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin & Buddy Miller in June
