My daughter wants to see Taylor Swift this spring. She has never been to a concert before.
I figure the audience would be pretty much like a Jonas Brothers concert, or Miley Cyrus (young, shrieking, harmless). But I have never been, so I could be wrong. Should I expect to see inappropriate behavior on the lawn, like at a Buffett concert?
This is not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it might encourage me to buy pavilion seats. ($$$$)

how inappropriate could the lawn crowd get at a tween concert?

Depends. Are you going to be there?
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

My 5 year old has reminded me about a thousand times that Taylor Swift concert is Aug. 1st, it's driving me crazy, we do have tickets for him, it's an an early birthday present. I do kind of wish it was an outside place but she's touring with some other dude keith Urban, my wife has heard of him We have no intentions of tailgating...
Funny thing my older keet now 10 went to his first concert(JB) at 5, tailgated the day away without issue, I would never consider taking this one, strange how 2 children are brought up almost identically yet they are so different in so many ways.

Keith Urban........has a few good songs and a sexy Aussie voice, he is married to Nicole Kidman.
Just read the Rolling Stone interview with her... she would seem to good to be true
I think she's a sweetheart , really tall (5'11") , and a really talented singer/songwriter for her genre.
She writes almost exclusively about teenage girl stuff, so you wonder if she can make the jump forward in maturity.
Definitely not a Britney, Christina, or Avril. More like Le Ann Rimes... she kinda had a similar bridge to cross.
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!
I have seen Taylor twice. Both times she has been an opening act, and both times have been within the first 10 rows - last time being front row. Took my teenage daughter, and she loved it. Take her, and enjoy it.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.
We were hoping to win the contest for her to do a concert at our high school. But they took the site down when they had 100,000 votes cast in one weekend. My keet is 17, a senior in high school and loves her. I've listened to her music and she is really good.
She is doing a concert near us and Kelly Pickler is her opening act. I think it's going to be tweens and teens.......lots of girls with some boys. I'm going to try to get tickets for my keet.
Take your keet....it'll be fun! Well.....it won't be Buffett but it'll be a bonding experience.
BTW - if anyone knows the presale code.....could you let me know?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
OK, I'm going for it. Gonna deal with the devil (TM) and try to get pavilion tickets for my daughter and her friends. Thank you, everybody, for your input.
BOHICA!

(where is the dirty old man smiley on this (&% thing!!!! )
I think she's a very pretty young lady, and has a pretty good voice. HAven't listened to much, as I don't do new country. Kelly Pickler annoys the snot out of me. So does carrie Underwood. Not sure why.
