Hyacinth smell very nice and are shorter and sturdier.

If you are planting and want bright colors Gerberas would be good.

Are you talking cut flowers or planted? It really makes a difference.

Some cut flowers last longer than others. If you are potting some plants

it depends on the traffic and temperature change.

If you mean in vases? Tulips, Hydrangea, Irises, Daffodils, and Snapdragons are my favorites.

Planted? Forget it. I kill 'em. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

I just hope to see Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brushes along the road when I go home next month. I've got a friend already sending me pictures of the flowers in bloom on his property - I'm jealous!!!

clippingss from azeleas has been extraordinary this season, blooms as big as your hand. looks terrific in a tall vase and they last a long time, too.

I vote for any flower that is NOT plastic. Spring is my favorite time of year. Flowers sprouting out of the ground. Other than the once frozen dog droppings that are not hidden under the snow.
