It is so weird that she was able to walk andtalk for awhile... but a girl who got hit by a hockey puck in the head was ok for awhile - and she died from a bloodclot... maybe that is what happened to Natasha... this is so sad..

I can't believe I slammed into a ski lift tower and I am OK...She didn't even hit anything and I hit full speed sliding on my back, head first.. bounced off and passed out face down in the snow. I guess when God has a time for you - it is his time.... If I could have read God's mind that day he was probably saying .. "Nice try Megan ... really .... but I am not ready for you yet. The somersaults were really impressive though... but you've got more work to do down there before you come to the big show"

My thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and all those who love her so much.....

I saw this on the news last night.
How sad.
Natasha is such a teriffic lady with a smile that could melt an iceberg.

TMZ is reporting that life support has been turned off. I hadn't heard of her before but it is still so sad.

I was off skiing with my two boys yesterday.

Tragic that this happened, and especially on a beginner slope. Helmets are as necessary as a warm jacket to me when skiing.

While I understand many of you emphasizing the wearing of helmets - I've also noticed a couple of stories saying a helmet may not have helped her citing that the fact that while helmet wearing has increased each season the fatality rate in skiing and snowboarding has remained constant.

It's just sad for her friends and family.

says the actress has died.
Richardson, a gifted and precocious heiress to acting royalty
whose career highlights included the film "Patty Hearst" and a
Tony-winning performance in a stage revival of "Cabaret," died
after suffering an apparent head injury from a skiing accident. She
was 45
Alan Nierob of Rogers & Cowan said in a statement Wednesday
night: "Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked
and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They
are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of
everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time."
