Mike - perhaps because you are new you don't understand I'm going to try to enlighten you. I don't remember all the exact dates and I'm sure someone will come on and fill these in and correct me (ETP perhaps).

We lost one of our own to breast cancer. About that time Jimmy made a suggestion that parrotheads come up with ways to party with a purpose. At that time a small group of us - I think it was somewhere from 8-10 people lead by ETP came up with the idea to throw awesome tailgates, charge and give the proceeds to charities for breast cancer awareness. This was in 2002 I believe, maybe 2003. What started as a small group effort has morphed into a large undertaking that wouldn't be possible without the tireless effort of Mr Play and all the others helping him. Last year the money rasied helped 2 of our own each battling cancer in their families. In other words FFF is a sacred cow around here for those reasons and others.

You came onto this board wanting to join us and we welcomed you. Perhaps not in the manner you wanted but we did welcome you. Now you have decided to compete with us with your party and it just doesn't bode well with some of us. Especially some of us that were the original "Texhoma Gang". None of us originals have been "rude" to you but trust us - we're not happy because our effort is not for fun and games but for noble causes.

Just today one of my employees informed me of her breast cancer diagnosis. I'm currently working on plans to re-arrange work assignments, disinfect the office and assure her safety for when she comes back to work. We don't yet know if she'll do chemo or radiation or both but I want the office to be a safe place for her.

I am one of the original Texhoma Gang members - I'm dealing with an employee facing breast cancer, my sister in law is a breast cancer survivor, my boss is a breast cancer survivor and quite frankly I find your attitude most appalling and feel that if ANYONE is owed an apology it is you that owes the apology.

And that's all I have to say right now.

ph4ever get a grip, my attitude all i did was post on a public board that me and some buddies are having a buffett tailgate party and would like to invite others and have them share in the cost well excuse me... yes cancer is a serous disease, i know i recently had skin cancer surgery, luckily they got it all, however it was starting to grow inward, but yes they got it all,. but thats not the point, your idea is great, but if you walk around pizzahut park most tailgates are not there raising money for any cause they are just there to tailgate and have a good time, and that ok, if yours is for both raising money and fun thats ok too, so get off your high horse, i hope u raise lots of money and have fun, if we want to just have fun thats ok too
