And I also like Bit's last answer, which would make him part of the 36% that do remember the Alamo .
Someone......and I cannot reveal names I made it up .....told me 'bit's is old enough to have been at the Alamo, so of course he'd remember it.
I was only 5 at the time ..... my memory of the event is a little hazy.
That's to be expected , but along the same lines as the Alamo, how about "the Maine", the ship that exploded causing the Spanish-American war.
Of course, to all the BNers who went to the NEPHC, it has a whole different meaning, and none of us can remember it very well.
