Far Side of the World Cover / Release Date?

Margaritaville.com and Amazon.com have removed the picture of the cover artwork for the new album from their web sites. It is now confirmed that there will be a new cover for the album "Far Side of the World".

Margaritaville.com has taken down the release date from the new album release page for "Far Side of the World". It had been announced that it would be out on October 23rd.

Any idea why? Does Buffett have a rag on his head in that picture?

Well, I thought the first version of the Far Side cover just looked tacky. Jimmy has had some of the most original jewel case inserts/record covers/8-track labels I've ever seen. The Far Side one looked like something I could've printed up on my computer using Photosho and a spare ten minutes. Anyway...

Yeah, he has a rag on his head. The cd was recorded in Africa somewhere (or so I hear). I think the idea was supposed to be something outta casablanca or something. It's a picture of him sitting on a camel.

Anyhow, I think they're chaging the cover due to recent events in New York & Washington? That's just a guess though.
