Well, that's different.

Actually something similiar was in the news last year or maybe longer ago. I think it was the guy wife though in that incident. No doubt there will be a rough process on the keet.

How much different is that from those that accept/want an anonymous sperm donor? Are they going to face possible taunts of "Your Daddy was was dead when he fathered you?" or some equally such nasties?

Do the donor recipients, really know if the guy is living or dead? Does it really matter to them? They seemingly just want a child. The rest does not seem to matter.

I think the difference here is there would be no anonymity, as there usually is in a donor situation. In those cases I imagine is almost always a variation on the "We were unable to conceive on our own" theme, but this case right now there is no one who would be at the "parent" level who is trying to conceive. It is the grandmother wanting grandkids.

Lance Armstrong did that before going through his cancer treatments. I believe his last two children were the result of in vitro fertilization using the stored sperm.

I just wonder how long the sperm stays viable, even under cryogenic storage. Or could we theoretically see this man's sperm being used into the 22nd century and beyond??

How do you collect sperm from a dead person? You can't exactly send them into a room with a p*** magazine and a dixie cup?
