and now The Bird.
Sail on!
Why does this list remind me of the association tests we took in high school, "Pick the one that does not belong."
sorry

I thought that I would share this photo as it was amazing to meet this guy (twice)! I will never forget the look on "The Bird's" face when my one year old boy took this ball that he had just signed and stuffed it in his mouth. If you look closely you may be able to see the smudge of his name where the slobber was. It made the nightly news and was very cool. Sail on!

I would love to have seen him play in person, but I didn't start going to games in the big-league parks until around 1979. He was pretty much done and over with by then.
I did get a chance or two to meet Robin Yount, and he too is one of those guys who probably would have played for free if you'd asked him. He spent his entire career with the Brewers, even after he made the 3000-hit club and could probably have bolted for a bigger-market team. When you talk about "CLASS", even today, there's a lot of Milwaukee fans who get a mental picture of "The Kid".

I think you have your Robin's confused
Yount...Venture..either that or this banter is way over my head which is the more likely scenario...
Wait for #1
