Why wouldn't someone who knows him answer (unless they felt like they had to say he's not a nice fellow)? If someone happens to ask me about what kind of people my friends are, I'm happy to answer that they're great folks.
I'm not asking for his credit card numbers and home address, just asking what sort of guy he is in person.
Because people who know celebrities don't generally post about them at all in a public form or they will be quick to lose that kind of access.
Also, if a person is friends with a celebrity and talks about it on an Internet discussion board that person will more than likely gain some new not so true friends really quickly only because of knowing a celebrity.

I never met the man. My dad played behind his golf foursome once and actually did meet him, he said he was a really nice guy.

Paul NNNineteen Hardcastle is a long time friend of mine and i would be careful what i said about him, but i would not have a problem saying he is a great guy and success never went to his head ,he has time for people, like Jimmy does. I have never met Jimmy, been 5 feet away, I think we all know Jimmy is great guy. Has anyone ever heard anything bad about him...I don't think so, and thats where the answer lies...)

Jimmy is the biggest
S.O.B. you'll ever meet!! None of you people should give him the time of day and
ESPECIALLY should not buy his concert tickets!!!
By the way, anybody got any extra lawns for Detroit???

I'm here,
My time with Jimmy or any of the CRB members and staff are "our time". That what makes them special to me and them.

I met the entire band, except for Nadira outside The New Morning in Paris last September. They were all really nice people. I chatted with most of them for a few minutes, until they left to go to their hotel.
Funny story, was when Robert Greenidge shouted out "If there are any ladies out there, I am single!" We all got a good laugh out of that.
Unfortunately I did not get to meet Jimmy one on one, but I did get to shake his hand when he was coming off stage.

Did anyone else witness this?
I didn't witness this, no, but we all have our moments. I, for instance, come by my red hair (and Irish temper) honestly....
I've seen him annoyed at a tech before. Find me someone who never gets annoyed and it may be that we've discovered either the Second Coming or the Reincarnation of Mother Theresa.
(and btw, none of you here have seen my temper.... you've seen me irritated.... multiply by a factor of about 10 for some of the things I've been *really* angry about.....

Maybe he gets so used to being onstage in front of all those people that he forgot he was onstage. Either that or he was so p*ssed off that he didn't care.

Absolutely! Jimmy is no different than any other boss. I've seen bosses blow up at one employee in front of a lot of people. No, it's not right, but it happens. Holy crap, the guy gets annoyed. I feel so much better knowing that.

I can't wait until I get the chance to do the Rumba in Las Vegas in 2 weeks. Yes, I have two left feet, but who cares.

If I was playing for 25,000+ people and my guitar wasn't working right I would be p*** too. Wouldn't you?

This might be off topic but, I don't know Jimmy, I have never been with in 20 feet of him but if I could have dinner with 3 famous people, he would be one of them. Along with Bill Clinton, and John McEnroe. That would be one hell of a party. Jimmy would be singing, Bill would be pulling the ladies and McEnroe would be getting us into fights.

Most definitely I'd be upset, but I wouldn't have a meltdown in front of 25,000 people...but that's just me.
Unless you are actually in the situation, don't be so sure that you would not have a melt down. After all, you don't know all the circumstances that led to what happened.
